What a fabulous breakfast, excellent and attentive service by Jon, and the location can't be beat! We drove by there and couldn't park, so had to get back on the freeway and followed directions. Distance serving done right! There was a fire blazing and with the very high ceilings we enjoyed the beautiful music = all very elegant! We had the smoked salmon benedict, and the "trailblazer" = a little bit of everything: eggs, pancakes, and sausage. They made a fresh pot of coffee for us; we felt comfortable, never rushed.

This is the place you drive by on your way to Hood River. Half the time the parking lot is full with tourists, but if you time it right, you can sneak in here for a meal. We had 5:30 reservations on a Friday evening, and now that things are reopening, the place had several other diners. Our party ordered a French dip, a hamburger, and I had the stuffed mushrooms. The menu is a little dated, but had several good options. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and I thought the pricing was reasonable compared to other restaurants in Portland. Planning to return for brunch before a hike, if we can find parking of course!

We took guests last Friday evening and were given a table outside with a view of the falls. It was lovely! Our food was tasty (the mushroom ravioli was especially good) and we had marionberry margaritas which were delicious. But what really made our night was the great service from Parker N. He was so personable, genuinely friendly, making sure we had everything we needed, but without hovering. We really appreciated his great service!

Brought friends over this morning since they are new to the area and had never ate at the lodge before. Everything was great as usual except for the Wild Alaskan Salmon. I believe this is one of the reasons why it’s $25 per plate right? Wow, was it like eating a leather shoe. Wonder how long it had been frozen? Everything else was stellar, and our service was awesome as usual. But one of the BIG reasons we have brunch here is for the salmon. What happened guys?

My sister was visiting from Florida and we took her to Multnomah Falls. We decided to stop at the lodge for lunch and were surprised we could get in. The lodge was built in 1925 and is just beautiful. I think if you were seated in the back room that you might have a view of at least part of the waterfalls but we were in a front room. Still very nice. Overall, the food was good although my chicken parmesan sandwich was a little tough where it was thickest. I cut up that part and ate it anyway. The sandwich was very tasty- my sister had the same sandwich [she didn't mention whether it was tough] and my wife ordered the Grilled Reuben which was quite good [I sampled]. The service was exceptional. Kudos to our server Saleen and also the young man at the front desk. The restaurant is just a little more expensive than others- which we expected- but not exorbitantly so. Our sandwiches were each $16.50 so our bill for three was $55.25 before tip. I'm suspect it gets quite busy during the summer months but traffic to the falls starts slowing down in September [we were there 3 times in Aug. and Sept]. I'd go again and recommend you try it also.

Multnomah Falls is one of the top tourist attractions in the US. Because of its close proximity, Multnomah Lodge has the opportunity to add to the site by being an independent part of the attraction or take advantage of the attraction without adding to it. Unfortunately, the lodge has fallen into the second category. The physical lodge is worth walking through if only to look at the structure while warming your hands on the way to the gift shop. The associated restuarant is there for pure convenience and if you choose to eat there, you will pay a hefty price for it. The restaurant capacity was 1/2 full despite it being a holiday and the rest of the park was full of tourists. The hostess was clearly biased toward seating larger groups instead a smaller groups so it would be beneficial to reserve seating online if possible. Average wait times were 40 min+. We ordered 3 meals with mixed results. All was standard American cuisine fare. On the plus side, the corn chowder and french fries were good. On the passable side, the chicken pot pie was edible but bland. The fish fry was over fried white fish. On the con side, the chicken Parm was so salty that we tore off the salty breading to mix with the pot pie to give it taste. Again, considering the greatest attribute of this retaurant is its convenience, it isn't a surprise that the food was mediocre to poor. However, combined with the extremely high price of the meals, the long wait and mediocre service, one may be just as satisfied with buying a sandwich from a convenience store prior to coming to the park.

We decided to stop here for a late lunch on our way up the gorge. The lunch prices were more reasonable than what I expected. You eat upstairs in the rustic lodge. The room we were in had a view of the falls and was sunny and bright. A fun place to have lunch. There were enough items on the menu to please most people. We were there after 2 pm so it was not crowded, but I could see where it could get very crowded, especially on the weekends. I had a grilled cheese with bacon on sourdough with tomato bisque soup and my wife had a steak salad. Both meals did a good job at filling us up. The food was very good. The only critique I have is that the food took a little longer to come out than I would have expected based of the low number of diners when we were there. We will definitaly stop here again next time we are through this area.

We were surprised to find such a wonderful place to eat at a “tourist stop”. The hostess and servers were very pleasant and the food delicious. I had the club sandwich with bacon and it was huge. Could not finish it. My wife enjoyed the grilled cheese and tomato soup, stating it was the best soup she could remember having. And the tab was very reasonable.

Our lunch experience started when we approached the front reception desk. The hostess acted as though we were a bother. Although the restaurant was not even close to full, we waited 15 minutes for a table. Our server was great, but our food was terrible. The club sandwich was cold, the bacon hard, all on an overflowing small plate. The location really looks inviting, but don’t be fooled. They have a captive audience at this amazing tourist attraction,

Our family really enjoyed our lunch here. We had fish & chips, a French dip sandwich, burgers and a cinnamon roll. Everything was good. We sat in the garden room; the doors were open to the patio and it was sunny and beautiful, with a glimpse of the falls through the trees. The Lodge restaurant with the garden room and patio would make a great venue for a wedding or event.

The food was decent but not great here. At the time we visited there was a limited menu, probably due to having limited staff. The best thing is that you don't need to make a reservation at the Falls if you're dining at the restaurant. You did still need to find your own parking spot, however, before entering.

Right next to the falls, so eat and then visit. We had a very good burger and smoked salmon; the sourdough bread was heavenly as were the sweet potato fries. Attentive staff and lovely dining room.

We arrived at Multnomah Falls later in the day, around 4pm. The parking lot was crowded, but there was a steady stream of people coming and going so it only took about 15 minutes to get a parking spot. We walked over to enjoy the view of the water fall and then decided to check out the restaurant. We were delighted to find no wait. The food was fantastic and we felt reasonably priced. It was only $36 for an early dinner for 2. The views of the water fall from inside were amazing. We are so happy we decided to eat here.

I booked this place in advance, which was a good thing as there wasn't much in food options once we got to the falls. It was ok food with ok service. They are short staffed, so I am understanding, but the waitress forgot several items. The french onion soup was just gross (pictured) and overall the food was mediocre. It is convenient, but I would dine here again.

We loved this little restaurant that’s surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery we’ve ever seen. The breakfast menu had a nice variety and the portions were plentiful. The salmon and eggs were especially good and the service excellent. So glad we came here!
