We haven’t visited this very local pub to us for years but in September we have been there for lunch twice. Both times we were lucky enough to sit outside & have found it an extremely enjoyable experience. Food was excellent & service impeccable. Thank...you to Gary & team. We’ll be back on a regular basis.More

This is such a lovely old building and new management have undertaken a programme of updating. The restaurant in particular looked most attractive. We were greeted on a blustery Friday lunchtime with the smell of woodsmoke and a glorious fire was blazing in the fireplace....Service was very friendly. There were two menus, one with the days specials. My friend and I both chose the fish, chips and mushy peas, which arrived piping hot and well cooked. We really liked the atmosphere in the Seven Stars and will return very soon.More

This place is getting much better. It went through a bad patch, but a new landlord is turning it around. The food is good and they're trying hard. The menu has some interesting choices. If only they wouldn't overcook beef burgers to cinders I'd give...it a five for effort.More

Service, service, service. Whatever you do, do it well and the Seven Stars hits the mark. A first visit but not our last. You can see that the owners care about the place. Everything us smart and in its place without being ostentatious. Good selection...of beers; sandwiches for lunch were thoughtfully presented with local Norbury cheese and artisan bread. Look forward to popping in again.More

Went for a lunch at the Seven Stars. We had the sea bass, and a sirloin steak. Both meals were absolutely outstanding. Somebody there really knows how to cook. Every aspect of both meals was great. Best steak I have had in three years, and...the blue cheese sauce was lovely. It must have been scratch cooked. Lovely attentive staff.More
