Went to the IOW on business and had a 6.15 ferry from Lymington so a 4.30 start in London...on arrival in Yarmouth I really needed a light breakfast and cup of Tea. As I was early I walked into the The George Hotel opposite PO41 (they open at 7.30) for a walk in breakfast. On hearing the £30 charge they offered to me (obviously do not need or want the money and as a hotel i am assuming they are doing breakfast??) I decided to wait for PO41 to open. What a great decision. It must be one of the only places to open early as there was a stream of people waiting to be served. I only had Tea and a croissant at that point but was exactly what i needed to get me going. On my return to Yarmouth i went back in and got a Sandwich and another Tea for the Ferry. Excellent staff, very attentive and looked a good team. Great selection of cakes, sandwiches etc, and a small area to sit if you need. Give these people your money.

Amazing coffee in a busy and popular coffee house. Tasty bacon rolls for breakfast (nice and early when no-where else in Yarmouth was serving breakfast), overnight oats, pastries and toasties also available. Excellent coffee - we will be back.

This little place was really buzzing on an otherwise quiet Saturday and it’s easy to see why. Very friendly staff and a fair range of food and drink considering it’s quite small with just six little tables. Our toasted sourdough sandwiches arrived quickly and were lovely and the tea was proper leaf tea. While we ate there was a steady takeaway trade so this place is well-used by locals. We lingered a little longer and had a piece of their polenta cake which was superb. Well done, a top cafe.

Disappointing drop in standards. As a regular visitor to Yarmouth on a boat, have been buying coffee at PO41 since it opened and have always found it to be a good experience and the staff to be friendly and helpful. Sadly today was very different. The young lady behind the counter displayed a combination of downright rudeness and indifference. I was taking new crew there and had told them to expect a delightful experience. I was embarrassed that this was not the case. My female companions took their time in deciding on their choice of coffee and cake and one could sense the very real impatience by the server. She practically threw the cake plates down on the counter. She was very aggressive in her voice and manner. The situation didn’t change when she brought the coffees to the table . When asked for sugar, she rudly pointed at the end of the counter as if we were idiots for asking. We observed that none of the staff were friendly to boat crews reserving their smiles for regular locals. Today’s team had clearly not been trained in customer care making the whole experience unpleasant. So sad to see this change in attitude and I will be reluctant to recommend PO42 and visit again.

There are not many options (none that we could see ) for breakfast in Yarmouth, the cafe at the ferry was closed, the pub we stayed in doesn’t do it and when we visited here the only breakfast option was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich which was really expensive considering the lack of content . They had no bacon and turned away a stream of people wanting bacon rolls. There are a few seats but not many and others stood out in the rain. Nice staff and comfortable if you can get a seat.

Wonderful, friendly service from the Cafe staff. PO41 was fully operational with a fabulous array of pastries and cakes from early morning. A great place for take away food before travelling on the ferry

Certainly the best coffee in Yarmouth, probably the best coffee on the Island and possibly the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had - including Monmouth in London and Italy. It looks like chaos behind the counter, especially half an hour before a busy ferry, but it seems to be organised chaos. Also great cakes ( my biscoff blondie was delicious), sandwiches and bacon rolls. Half a dozen tiny tables but you can always take away and sit on a bench in the harbour.

Bought refreshments and coffee/tea/drinks for our ferry journey to the mainland. They open 7 days a week which was welcome because we travelled on a Sunday. Wide range of sandwiches, toasties cakes etc. Barista coffee was lovely. Staff were friendly with excellent service. Would recommend. Ann and family

People said try the post office for coffee? Well when we lived here 27 years ago it was a post office, now a small lovely coffee shop which on this day a lovely young barista served up an excellent flat white. Many people lining up for take away coffee but we managed to grab a seat in front of a good selection of cakes, chose a croissant instead. Must say we are impressed so far with the baristas on the island.

Stumbled across this amazing coffee house where the staff are aware and conscious of allergies which is something very important for my son. At 14yo he has never been able to eat pastries in a coffee shop before due to "may contain nuts" but having checked ingredients and a member of staff having a member of his family with a nut allergy my son wolfed down a delicious pan au chocolate. The flat white was delicious too. Highly recommended and comfortable seating 5 star for us ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️🏝

We have been coming here ever since it opened. Absolutely fantastic coffee shop. Normally very friendly, lovely coffee and great food. Which makes today’s experience even more difficult to understand and out of character. My partner always has her coffee very weak so wherever we go, we always ask for half a shot. Never a problem anywhere. However, today, the server at PO 41 simply said “no”. When quizzed she said “No we don’t do half shots” When challenged again and making it clear we weren’t asking for a discount or anything – simply only put half the shot into the mug - she again refused and started to get shirty, cut off my partner and refused to talk. Really rude and difficult to understand when there is no downside and no one ever in any other coffee shop, and PO41 every time we come before has never been a problem. Very disappointed.

Fantastic little coffee shop which serves amazing coffees. We loved it so much we went every morning for our coffees and often stopped en route before heading out to different attractions and parts of the island. Genuinely really enjoyed going here for a takeaway coffee and was dead easy to rock up and park the car really close nearby to stop off. Can’t recommend this place enough - definitely worth a visit!!

We confirm the "Small but very friendly and high quality " comments from others. No trouble for them to split one excellent house coffee into two, as my wife has to limit intake. In addition, we purchased, for take away, two bags of the caffetiere blend and also a couple of the delicious cakes.

Stopped by towards close of play for a coffee, a hot chocolate and, in the event, a couple of nata tarts. The chocolate was well above average and served [for me] at the right temperature (ie hot!) in a very attractive insulated glass beaker. Covid precautions were being taken seriously and I wish them well.

Called in whilst walking around, paid £13 for 2 coffees and 2 small pieces of cake. Although it all tasted good we'll probably try an save a bit by looking around first. Nothing wrong in general with the place which had a good atmosphere but £6.50 for coffee an cake a bit steep for me.
