Truly the hidden GEM of Dublin, Ohio bar/restaurant scene. Located in a historic building just off the main drag. Irish PUB ?? maybe but the food is not just bar food. Somewhat different selection of sandwiches, salads and daily soup choices. Portions are huge! Service...is incredible. Full service bar with 80 different Irish whiskies. Small but cozy patio in summer. .Obvious choice place by locals !! Original owner for over 20 yearsMore

Weekend visit in Dublin was a great time. The bartender, Kristen, a.k.a. “Truly” was so pleasant and kind and helped us with the menu. The Irish eggrolls were fabulous and probably a meal for some folks. I had fish and chips and they were done...perfect. The fries are OK and the coleslaw was nice. Having a seat at the bar was very relaxing.More

cozy patio but small. It's called a "Tavern" but the food is why you want to go there. Truly home cooking with a flair toward the unusual. Their Irish Egg Roll is copied all over town since they won the top prize for an appetizer....Fried balony has the best quality meat you'll find anywhere. A new item on the menu is a chicken fajeta sandwich is great! but their salmon BLT is the crown of the menu. Soups are to die for and change daily. Italian wedding is the BEST. OH !! don't overlook the roasted red pepper sandwich. It's a killer !!More

Visited the Dublin Village Tavern after a long day at the Columbus Zoo. The staff was very friendly and the food was excellent. The Hooley Egs were some of the best I've had and the fish and chips were tasty as well. Everyone in our...party of five enjoyed their meals. I'll definitely return if I'm ever in the area again.More

I was staying at a nearby hotel, across the walking bridge, and noticed that the DVT has many gluten friendly options. I sat at the bar with Joe, the bartender giving good suggestions on drink and food. I had the Harvest salad with tuna salad,...as well as a Red Breast 12 year cask strength Irish Whisky and a Whiskey War double oaked. The food was great, Joe was on point and it was a fun dinner.More

I should have guessed that the Dublin Village Tavern was essentially an Irish pub. The old center of Dublin is an attractive small town with some historic elements (I saw one building with gas lights). I was staying closer to the freeway, where there are...lots of chain restaurants, but was looking for something more local. This was about three easy miles from the many hotels along I-275 and I found street parking without difficulty. We've been to the more famous Dublin and they've done a great job of having the same look and feel of a Dublin pub. The menu has many Irish offerings, such as their own Irish egg roles, Irish glazed salmon, shepherd's pie, fish & chips, etc., as well as various kinds of burgers. The beer list pretty much matched the food. The service was fast and friendly. This was a welcome break and a nice meal that wasn't a chain.More

My lady and I spent the day in Cbus and wanted something local. We gave the Inn a shot and we weren’t disappointed! We loved the atmosphere and parking was close. There’s a lot on the North side of the restaurant. It was a weeknight...and we had a :10 to :15 minute wait. The waitress was good, and answered our questions or asked the kitchen if she didn’t know. I had the sliders and sweet potato fries, it was excellent. My lady had the Tavern Burger, which was excellent and fries, which we ok. We will be back to try other choices on the menu, the appetizers looked good from the next table over, and I’m curious about the Irish fare.More

We had dinner at the Dublin Village Tavern last night! We had egg rolls and a Meatloaf dinner. The food was incredible. The service was prompt and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area! This area of Columbus is modeled...after the old Dublin theme. Great night out!More

My food was satisfactory and the setting was great!!! The pretzel bites were very tasty. The meatloaf with mashed potatoes with carrots as a side was somewhat too starchy for lunch. Others in my party enjoyed their food. Service was great!!!

The fish & chips were very watery and lacked flavor/seasoning. Very disappointed. The pretzels and cheese we cold. The queso tasted like Tostitos jar queso🤢 The outdoor seating was nice.

My wife and I were in Dublin on business. We had lunch at the bar three times because we enjoyed it so much. The food was excellent, the service was prompt and attentive and the prices were okay. They have Irish beers on draft and...good pub food. The portions are huge. The place is small, so there is limited seating, but we had no issues in mid-afternoon. It's an old-fashioned pub with a beautiful ornate wood bar. We will definitely go back next year when we return to Dublin. It's also a great place to meet a lot of the local regulars, which we did. (Free off street parking, too.)More

Having not been here for close to a year, we decided to make the trek. Husband got meatloaf, said it was okay. I got fish n chips (which I’ve had here before). Very disappointing! Fries were warm but a bit soggy, breading peeled off fish...and it was wet inside. Not crisp or adhered to the fish. Kind of gross. I ate what I could, mostly the fries. I think we get to scratch another restaurant off our already very shortened list. What is going on!! Get management to pay attention to the kitchen staff.More

When you go to a restaurant the main topic of discussion is the food. However, the key to a great experience is the service! Michelle was our waitress and there are not enough words to express how absolutely wonderful she is. Her personality was catered...to each table and she was personable with each customer. My friend and I spent time catching up and she was quick to check on our drinks and if we wanted to order. She had great suggestions for food. She was attentive without hovering. She has a wonderful sense of humor. I will come back here as often as possible, not only for the food but for Michelle!!! She made this experience stand out. Thank you Michelle!!!More

First time we have eaten there and enjoyed it very much. Dublin is a cute little town. Had the meatloaf which was very good. Our waitress was named Michelle and was very attentive and nice to my little granddaughter.
