Their service is not good. I came in by myself before the others in my party were there. They said I needed to wait until the others came. When the others came they still would not seat us. If you want proper service do not...go here.More

Soup noodle tastes disgusting, like fireplace ash. My daughter had one taste, and stopped eating. The portions are small. Food is overpriced. The dining room doubles as kitchen. It is not a proper restaurant. Biggest rip off in town.
Had lunch here in the summer of 2022. 8 Months later, this is still my favorite ramen restaurant in Columbus. It's easy to find this quality in LA or NYC, but not in Columbus. The taste is good and close to authentic. Definitely will come...back again.More
We've been coming ever since they opened, and have recommended to a lot of friends. But the most recent trip will be the last. My wife and I arrived and were told it would be a wait, no worries, fully expected that. A while later...we were next up, and the 6 seat table opens up, we ask to be seated there. They say - NO, it is only for large groups. Asked if there was a reservation coming or had a large group walked in, NO...so can we have the table, NO. The host guy actually rolled his eyes at us and was visibly rude. We were finally seated at a smaller table, another 20-30 mins later....the big table was still vacant. Another hour later when we left, the big table was still vacant. And guess what, the food tasted insipid. That is what happens when you have antagonized your customers...even the best product will leave a bad taste, pun intended.More
Stopped by for a quick lunch and I’m glad that I did. There was a short line but I was able to get seated right away since it was just me. By far some of the best ramen that I’ve had. I will definitely be...coming back when I’m in town.More
Great spot. Delicious. Found it on TripAdvisor. Huge turnover is a judge of great food. Appetizers were off chain.
After the madness of the holidays, my husband asked me out on a date. He had heard about this "ramen place" from a guy at work and decided I might like it. This was a first for me....and I loved it. The ONLY thing I...have negatuve to say is that it's located in a strip....(and that probably only bothers ME.) It was trendy-looking, our server was AMAZING and although my first impression of my Meshikou Black was "hmmmm, murky."....My last impression was "I hope no one saw me trying to get the last drop!" Fantastic! Go try it!More
We enjoyed the calamari, mushrooms, and chicken with their own sauce. Definitely a must try. The teas was good. The water was cucumber infused.
There is some craftsmanship to the ramen noodle here. A real effort is made to serve fresh and tasty meals. 5 stars.
I had heard of this restaurant from a friend and decided to try it. I liked it very much. I sat at the counter as I was by myself and it was busy. The atmosphere was good and I enjoyed being able to watch them...prepare the food. I thought it was a tad pricey- $12 for a ramen bowl but it was very good. Waitress couldn’t have been nicer. Very attentive!More
Very satisfied with their appetizers. Einoku wrapped bacon, takoyaki, and KFC chicken were very good! The ramen unfortunately was a little bit of a let down. We tried 3 different kinds of ramen and none of them really impressed. They were okay but definitely not...the greatest. Clear broths are not it for me. However, I will come back to give it another chance and order the black meshikou ramen. The place is smaller than expected but very cool, cozy and clean.More
Definitely the most authentic ramen I’ve had in Ohio. Loved the thick creamy broth and the noodle was cooked to perfection. It’s even served with the marinated egg (which is essential when I eat ramen). I’ve been to a few places that don’t come with...it. The restaurant is a little small and it gets pretty crowded. But it’s worth a visit.More
The only other restaurant who has ramen this good is Fukyuru Ramen. . . and it's not a close race about who would come next. Their steamed buns are exquisite, too. I'd give anything for them to open a place in Clintonville. You rock, Meshikou.
Ironically the best Ramen I have ever had was in Scotland but this is a very close second. We ordered ramen and gioza at the counter, found a seat and a few minutes later the meal was served to us. The food was served hot...and was quite tasty. The food was appropriately portioned and quite filling. They also had a hard apple cider on tap that I ordered. I did not care for the cider but that has more to do with a dislike of nutmeg. There was a heavy nutmeg flavor to the cider. Overall, I would certainly recommend!More
Cannot say enough how much I love this place. The sake, the Chashu bun, karaage, the RAMEN. The meshikou black is to die for!
