We were told this would be a pleasant treat with a varied and funky menu. Vibrant with lots of young people and families. The fish tacos were excellent. Nice drink selection. We'll go back.

Loved the atmosphere! Friendly staff and loved the food. Our server Cathy was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the food. This was our first visit to Raleigh and definitely enjoyed this place. Thank you to the folks at Salt and Lime Cabo Grill!! We...will certainly be back.More

A young family was seated next to us. The mother was on a FaceTime call on speaker the entire time and the volume was all the way up. All the diners around her were subjected to her loud conversation. The waitress said she could not...do anything about it and the manager on duty would not do anything. Very rude and disruptive.More

OK food-OK service as we tried this place. I liked the shrimp tacos pretty well-wife had chicken fahitas and was not a big fan.

Good food, good service! This was our second visit and it was great. We ordered a large variety along with a to go order, and it was all great! I can vouch for the brisket/rib burger, the pork belly tacos, the nachos, and the Cabo...Street Chicken.More

I have been there three times. I tried tacos, burrito and carne asada. All the times the food was good and staff was kind and quick. Unfortunately they don’t take reservations and it may take some time before having a table during rush hours.

I've previously written a glowing review of what may be my favorite dish on the planet, the Surf & Turf Burrito. Have tried a couple other dishes there and not thought much of 'em, the latest being the Shrimp & Grits. Judging by all the...positive reviews online for the dish, I have to think it might just be my own taste buds but, in any case, just gotta put out there that, it's definitely not for everyone. I admit that the dish has many, many different recipes and virtually no two are alike, and while I can't offer a suggestion to improve this one, will just say that, again, it wasn't for me and next time, and always, I'm just sticking with the bomb - the Surf & Turf (burrito, not to be confused with the plate dish of the same name).More

I will lead with the food was good. We were a party of 5 and tried a variety of dishes. Shrimp and grits, Korean pork belly tacos, shrimp tacos, fire grilled chicken wings,Cabo rolls, queso, braised short rib tacos, carne asada tacos and Santa Fe...corn. Everything was really good but the corn had too much sauce which destroyed the flavor of the corn. We also had the churros-arrived undercooked and doughy and tres leches cake. I would recommend for the food but not the service. The hostess was very dismissive, however I noticed she was very friendly and welcoming with “certain guest”. Our waitress was the most inattentive waitress I have had the displeasure of having. It was work to get her attention and she was not proactive about anything. Not even the carafe of water. Every table but ours had one. I understand slow service due to lack of staffing etc but this is not what this was. She just didn’t care. Or didn’t care to have people of color because she definitely gave better service to other tables. Perhaps she fell for the stereotype that black people don’t tip ? She’s wrong …. I tip 22-25% depending on the service. In this instance she received 10% which was actually overtipping for the service provided. So self -fulfilling. We were good customers but did not feel valued or appreciated. Although I enjoyed the food I would definitely ask for a different waitress if I had the misfortune of having her as a waitress. So my rating without the poor service would be 5. if you consider the service which is definitely part of the dining experience I would give a 1.More

Had heard good things about this place so we decided to give it a try. The atmosphere is good, but thats about it. The wait staff is rude and when I asked for chips and salsa she snapped at me and demanded she take our...order for entrées first. So we ordered our food and drinks, chips and salsa came out mid way through our meal. Margaritas finally came after we finished eating. Without a doubt the worst tasting margaritas we've ever had, ever. Literally almost every taco truck I've ever eaten at has been better. Overpriced. Absolutely nothing authentic about salt and lime, tex mex at best. We left hungry and disappointed, wont be back.More

Second visit here and did not disappoint. In addition to the decor and art being oh so aesthetically pleasing, the food is phenomenal. The portions are huge- enough for a second meal. Very tasty drinks. Service each time has been impeccable. This is a don’t...miss!!!More

My family went to Salt and Lime for the first time last night. There is adequate parking in a large shared lot. We were seated right away. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We enjoyed the patio seating. Our personable server had many tables, but...was attentive enough to take care of all of our dining needs. He filled our glasses with water and also brought a carafe of water for refills. We started with the “trio” appetizer which included three types of salsa including guacamole and unlimited chips. There were several different options of Mexican dishes. We tried three different ones and were all very happy. We left satisfied and sure to come again.More

I went with 2 other people who loved their entrees, but mine was sup-par....the Chile Relleno. Presentation was beautiful but the Poblano AND the eggplant in the stuffing were very undercooked. The flavor was there, just way undercooked. On the positive side, my husband said...his Shrimp and Grits were the best he ever had in his life and our guest had Chicken Quesadilla and it looked fantastic. We also ordered salsa, which was excellent, queso...not a fan, not white, and chips that had too spicy of a seasoning on them. I will for sure go back but not for the Relleno!More

Waitress did not ask us about, it’s in the name, come on. She argued that she did ask and I just said well just bring what we ordered, which she then brought us water. ordered the fajitas snd got a credit card size piece of...meat. I understand skirt steak is thin but… The best part was the awesome lime sauce. Don’t bother with gong here.More

My wife and I were in Raleigh looking for something different and interesting to eat so we landed on trying here. Glad we did. We ordered the Island Shrimp Tacos and the Bangkok Shrimp Tacos. They were delicious! As we were eating them we were...actually thinking we should have ordered more. We also ordered the Baja Trio and with the chips in this we got the house salsa, house guacamole and house queso dip. They were all very good. We did order on line for curbside pick up. They were really busy and not much of a curbside to pick up the food, so I ended up going in to pick it up. One other thing to note, I did order the short rib tacos and they forgot to give those to us. So if you are ordering take out, double check your order. I typically do but if course this time I didn’t. This is the only reason why I did not give them an excellent rating. Finally we ordered for dessert the Tres Leches Cake. Delicious!! Food was fabulous, we definitely would go back for another meal! Enjoy!!More
