Thaaaank youuuuu!!! Ordered takeout at our hotel- later than most restaurants running. Food arrived hot and on time. We loved all 3 dishes- found portions and pricing in line w other Indian places. Saag delicious, black daal flavorful , tikka masala creamy- overall a wonderful...wholesome food.More

This place is good for Indian food! It's not very authentic but its as authentic as any other Indian restaurant in the USA. The lunch buffet is very cost effective and great for the cost. The a-la-carte menu is a little expensive but the quantity...is great. I usually go back for the lunch buffet when I crave for Indian food.More

Just finished takeout from here. The food was very tasty. We tried the Samosas and Gobi (Cauliflower) Pakoras for appetizers and they were dandy. As entrees, we opted for the veggie Palak Paneer and the Chicken Tikka Masala. The dishes were fresh and savory, spiced...appropriately to order, and the accompanying rice was perfect. The portions were ample, with plenty for another meal for each of us. Obviously we cannot attest to the service (although it was ready when promised) or the ambience, but the food was well worth the trip. We will definitely try them again.More

The dinner menu was a bit pricey, but the food was a real treat. Spiced perfectly, cooked well. I was very pleased.

I absolutely LOVE Indian food and this buffet was DELICIOUS! All the food was fresh, tasteful, not too much spice, the bread was freshly cooked and the service was simple (they didn't come to your table a million times, it was really good). I could...eat myself into a food coma at this place! We will return as often as we are in downtown Raleigh! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!More

Lunch buffet (at least on weekdays) with a good selection and a reasonable price. Clean, attractive environment with a friendly staff. A good selection of dishes on the buffet, but somewhat narrow for vegetarians. I really like papadum and so it's good to see it...included in the buffet. The buffet choices have their spice levels low enough that most people have no problems with it.More

I was shocked to find a place this good rifht on Hillsborough St. The atmosphere was not very authentic but its a college town so it isnt necessary. The service was good and the food was great. The price was really affordable for the amount...of food we ordered and received. We we're there for dinner but i will be making my way over there to try their lunch buffet. Its sure to not dissapoint.More

We went for lunch and ate the buffet. There are a lot of options, and they are all good. Very casual and relaxed.

This is my go-to spot for Indian food. I have tried the other more expensive places and none compare. If I am anywhere near the area, I shoot over and will have lunch all by myself because it is that good! The food is authentic...and well done. The flavors of the spices are spot on! If you love Indian food, this is a must try! If you have never had Indian food, this is a must. Start with the Chicken Tikka Masala....you can't go wrong!More

Ordered the Palak paneer and korma. Both dishes were perfectly spiced at medium. The samosa is huge and naan was fresh. Highly recommended.

I spent five years of my life living in Birmingham, England. That city is curry central for the UK, so I have high standards when it comes to Indian food. This restaurant has Balti curry on the menu, which is a Bangladeshi speciality very common...in Birmingham. They do an excellent job. Probably the best Balti I've had outside of the UK. The chicken momos are also superb. My missus gave high marks to the vegetarian Navratnan Korma, and my daughter loved her chicken Korma, and wanted me to especially mention the mango Lassi drink. The portions are generous, and we had plenty for a second meal from the leftovers. Well be back to this one again. if only they had Nargis kababs and onion bhajis, they'd be perfect.More

The food was amazing. I lived with a group of Indians who taught me to cook and thus topped their efforts. Clean and fresh while having all the deep rich spices of India and Afghanistan. The paratha was tasty and hot. The balti was just...perfect and hot like I asked for. A lovely experience in the heart of nc state. Great beer on tap and friendly serviceMore

We started going here a few years ago when in the area, and while it has always been good, it seems lately it is getting even better! This is also the only place around to find true Nepali Momos, and it has really the best...veg samosas of any restaurant in Raleigh.More
