We were leaving town after a few days of glamping in Penrose. My birthday could not have ended better than a square root experience. Amy took the best care of us! We were sitting at the bar, had the pumpkin martini special! It was quite...More

The food here is amazing. It's always fresh and eye catching. The staff are friendly and it's beautiful inside. They have a good wine selection as well.

You can trust Square Root to be very good each time you visit. That is important in this small town. The restaurants that fail to satisfy time after time have gone away. The people are nice and friendly and they try to please. Good food...More

We chose to eat at the Square Root several times while visiting Brevard. We loved that they were dog friendly and we could take our precious Maltese to the nice outside dining area. The staff is welcoming and the food is outstanding.

While shopping in Brevard several merchants recommended this place for lunch. It is a small place down an alley off of main street. If you didn't know it was there you might miss it. If you get the chance give it a try. It is...More

We just had the best lunch here! We shared the ahi tuna salad and angus with blue cheese & mushroom burger and both were fabulous. Amy was our server and gave excellent customer service, and eating outside on the patio was very relaxing. The location...More

Description
Located in a beautifully restored historic building...down a quiet alley in the heart of Downtown Brevard, The Square Root Restaurant is as well known for its architectural and artistic decor as it is for its fabulous food. Whether you're hoping to enjoy the ambiance of our indoor dining room, our locally crafted wood bar top, or the fresh breezes of our covered outdoor patio - there is room for everyone. Our atmosphere is inviting for romantic evenings, cocktails with friends, and family gatherings. We pride ourselves on serving locally roasted coffee from The Brown Bean, and we offer several local brews on tap and by the bottle. Menu choices include options to please the young and the old, the adventurous and the picky eaters, and anyone who enjoys delicious fresh food at reasonable prices. We also offer a full bar with extensive wine and cocktail choices.
