What is a fabulous restaurant is now also a Boutique Hotel with beautifully appointed bedrooms each with their own decor. This beautiful provençale building situated in the heart of Mirepoix has been lovingly restored by its owners retaining all the features of the property. The colourful curtains and the attention to detail, with luxury fluffy bath towels and Molton Brown products, Nespresso machine, very comfortable large beds and a seating area to relax all make for a luxury experience. The bathrooms are spacious with large walk in showers or gigantic porcelain baths and tiled in keeping with the style of building.
We were lucky enough to be given a tour of the well stocked and spectacular wine cellar where I tasted one of the best French Bio Pinot Noir’s and where they often do wine tasting.
Breakfast did not disappoint, served in the courtyard garden under the olive trees surrounded by colourful borders of hydrangeas and the sound of the water feature. Sumptuous croissants and locally sourced sourdough bread, elegantly packed sea salt butter, freshly squeezed orange juice and a choice of jams. I wished I was hungrier to do it justice but the
Excellent tasting menu the previous evening was still lingering. We stopped on our way back from Spain and enjoyed the journey over the Pyrenees to get there. Regrettably we had to continue on our journey but next time we will plan to stay longer.

It’s a hidden Gem! Highly recommend. The food is heavenly and the service was on spot. Can’t wait to go again. The salads gourmande was so fresh our waiter Marc advised us to try it.

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday night and enjoyed the most delicious dinner. The ambience is warm and friendly, we enjoyed aperos beside a welcoming fire whilst deciding on our courses from the excellent menu. The wines recommended to us complemented the food perfectly. Jean- Louis, Nadine and their staff are delightful and nothing was too much trouble. Service was faultless. Our bedroom was extremely comfortable, the bedding and towels were of superior quality and the room sympathetically decorated, as was the whole establishment. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyable with fresh, quality produce. We will visit again many times and have no hesitation in recommending Le Clos des Oliviers.

Make sure you get a reservation confirmation. We made a reservation for 4 of us for my birthday which also happened to be Father's Day. Just happened to call an hour or so before we made the 50 minute journey to the restaurant only to be told that they had no reservation for us. We checked our phones and we had definitely spoken to them for 10 minutes the previous week. We were left high & dry on a Sunday lunchtime in France with no birthday lunch. We have eaten in lots of restaurants throughout France and this is the first time we have been in this situation.

It appears that there might have been some confusion with another restaurant that shares a similar name and is located in St Gely near Montpelier. In the past, we have encountered instances where guests have mistaken our establishment with theirs due to the naming similarity. However, we would like to kindly mention that rating us 1 star without visiting and experiencing our place and food, especially when we have not had the opportunity to serve you, is a bit harsh.

Excellent meal - we were treated by friends and went for the most expensive set menu at 58 euros. The wine was reasonably priced and of good quality. Course after course of pure delight. Excellent staff.
We are hoping to try the lunch set menu soon.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary in the garden at this wonderful restaurant in the heart of beautiful Mirepoix. We both enjoyed the Menu Découverte which was amazing. The accompanying wines were high quality and the service was 1st class. The hosts, Nadine and chef Jean-François took time to chat to us after our meal. We will definitely return next year!!

We stayed for 3 nights and were blown away by the rooms and common spaces at Clos Des Oliviers. A chambre d’hôte feel with a warm welcome by Nadine, and at the same time decor and service of a tastefully decorated boutique hotel. The courtyard is outstanding as was our room, large with a sitting area and table, lots of room for clothes and a large shower. Dinner is available and it is outstanding. Chef Jean-Francois’s meals are delicious and easily match Michelin recommended restaurants.

Loved the terrace with the fountain, lights and olive trees. Very peaceful and relaxing place to enjoy a nice dinner. Service was friendly and the wine list great! My husband had the escargot and then the raviolis both excellent. I had the artichoke salad, the artichokes were very hard sadly and the crawfish gratin which was very tasty.

Fabulous hotel and restaurant in a beautiful medieval town. The hotel has been completely refurbished over the last couple of years with high class fitments and tasteful decoration whilst retaining the historic ambience of the building. The owners have spent a lifetime in hospitality all over the world opening and running high class hotels and this shows. Thanks for a great stay. A bientot!

What an excellent lunch we had at this extraordinary restaurant...a welcome newcomer to Mirepoix!! Sensational!
Seven of us men ate here tonight, being in the area on a walking trip.
The building and ambiance were beautiful, the staff bent over backwards to provide an exceptional service and the food was exquisite. They may not have a Michelin star yet but all of agreed this was one of the best meals we had ever eaten. We are from London area so we know good food but this was sublime. Well done to all of you. I hope to return with my family soon. A bientot!

First visit to this restaurant. The outdoor setting is fabulous, with ample shade on a very sunny day.
We had the 30€ lunch menu which had two choices per course available.
Between us we tried all options and were delighted!
The staff were fantastic, too.

The food is amazing, the service even better and the rooms very beautiful and clean. Beds are good. We loved the experience. I loved that it is family owned and small so you feel at home. If you are not sleeping there but having lunch and dinner you will love it also. The garden is beautiful with the olive trees and relaxing fountain. And the food really good.

This was the most magical meal. The food was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We were a party of 8 plus a toddler..and the hosts were so gracious and took such good care of us! The wine cellar was fantastic and the environment was spectacular… we had a choice of the gorgeous outside garden or the elegant indoor dining room. It was so fabulous that I have returned for breakfast and it does not disappoint !

Simply outstanding - ambience, food, service, a truly superb lunch. Highly recommended. We enjoyed the delicious set lunch with some wine and coffee and great interaction with the staff. Garden area is beautiful and interior very tasteful.
