I enjoyed my flight of different ciders and a charcuterie lunch. The staff was friendly and the location was great.

We do little day trips with another couple-and it was their turn to pick the adventure. I had never heard of this Cider House. It is a beautiful space! The woman that was taking care of us was super helpful and attentive. We tried a...lot of different ciders based on her recommendations, and it was a lot of fun to check them out. We also ordered turkey melt, grilled cheese and pulled pork between the 4 of us. Everything was delicious!! The Soup of the Day was Tomato. Food is ordered up at the counter-then delivered to your table. This is a farm to table restaurant. This is a "bus it yourself" place-and they have stations set up for glasses, plates, silverware...as well as trash. We did not find that at all difficult to do! The views are beautiful. I tool pics as we entered, from out on the front deck-and from our car window as we were leaving. They have a pretty good view of Cayuga Lake. We ended up buying a couple of bottles, and our favorite was Honeoye. Our friend really enjoyed the non alcoholic Ginger Beer. Highly recommend, and we will be back!More
Really great food, drinks, and views! We really enjoyed our meal at the Cider House. Just happened to have it saved on my list in case we passed it, which we did, and were very happy with our experience. Initially I thought the prices were...a little steep after seeing how much we paid for two ciders and two sandwiches, but they give you a lot and it was very tasty. Their cornbread is incredible too, btw, and they give you a little serving of jalapeño butter and a sweet butter for it - delish! We ate outside - it was a sunny fall day, so having lunch and being able to look at all the foliage was really lovely. Everyone who we came in contact that worked there were all very nice and helpful, also!More
This place is rated as the number 1 cider house in the finger lakes. They have an amazing selection of different ciders but I can’t speak to any of them. Do not go there late in the afternoon, however. They do a hard close at...5 pm and stop serving at 4:45.More
Brief orientation. Tasted a short flight. No glasses provided, just the small container. Bought Honey Crisp Ice Cider. Had lunch, a tomato soup, and a bread and cheeses sampler - both reasonably good, in a slightly depressing place with piled up dishes and cutlery.
The cider house itself has a "granola" vibe and offers a lot of different ciders, plus vegetables, cooked items, sandwiches, and cold drinks. The cider flights are $10 for a half-flight (four ciders), or $17 for a full flight (still four ciders, but you are...given a full pour instead). They have recommended flights, but you can choose your own instead. We tried eight ciders and they were okay, nothing great. We preferred the sweeter ciders and bought one of them. We also bought two bottles of their non-alcoholic Ginger Bear ginger beer which is delicious and has an intense ginger flavor. (If you are ever in Burlington, Vermont, Citizen Cider offered much better ciders.)More
A long wait for Lunch,,Food good but why should customers be asked to tip when they must bus their own tables?? If the staff believes they deserve tips, make it voluntary or the management should raise their hourly pay.
Someone in my party found this place offer a lil research on one of the sites we check! It was highly recommended. When we arrived we noticed the place was very handicap accessible, which was a definite plus! We go in & the staff immediately greeted...us & asks if it's our 1st visit & proceeds to inform us about the food & drink menu. After self seating (indoor & outdoor available!) we reviewed the menu & made some amazing choices! The sweet flight had some nice preselected choices! We didn't get a chance to try the finger foods & cheeses'. We did discover that on Fridays & Saturdays THEY HAVE PIZZA, ONLY 2 DAYS A WEEK!! I CAN ALREADY JUST IMAGINE HOW GOOD IT IS!!! But disappointed I was about 24 hours too late to get the experience! Smh. However, we had a good ol' experience & will definitely look forward to coming back & refilling our growlers! (Which was also a great purchase here!)More
We stopped here for lunch and the food was so fresh. Everything is sourced from local farms, if not grown on this property. You can even pick your own organic strawberries. Ciders and wines were decent. The selection of ciders is huge. Staff was incredibly...friendly. The atmosphere is peaceful, overlooking the countryside and Cayuga Lake.More
It is a great place to have a rest and enjoy good food and cider. We were a group of four people. We took different ciders and food to share and liked everything we had.
The food was so fresh and delicious. Everything just tasted so fresh. Large selection of ciders. We will definitely return on our next visit to the Finger Lakes.
While the cider is just average, the location was amazing and they had lots of room to enjoy your drink outside. We did order the blueberry grilled cheese which was worth every penny!
With extended family in town, we decided to head here for some afternoon cider on a hot day. The variety of cider offered (all produced on site) was impressive, and were all quite tasty. I recommend choosing ciders off the default flight lists if you...choose to do a sampling.More
Our favorite place to visit in the Finger Lakes. Amazing ciders, tons of variety, and exceptional food as well (homemade jams and pickles!) Also really nice ground to hangout on a nice day, you can sit on the high deck with a great view of...the surrounds, or sit on one of many picnic benches at the lower level. Staff super friendly and helpful. Be sure to take some cider home.More
We hiked around Taughannok for a few hours one morning, and needed food before visiting a winery that was recommended to us. A quick google search told us that we didn't have many options in the area. Luckily, I read a few reviews about this...winery and it's lunch offerings so we decided to visit.More
