About
Myleen's Restaurant and Café serves International foods with Italian, Mexican, and Filipino specialties. We are located at 56 National Highway in Barretto, Olongapo City, Philippines. We have a unique, cozy, and quiet environment to enjoy a meal or drink; or stop by and have a cup of coffee over a game of Chess. Our walls have hand-painted bamboo murals and are decorated with birds and butterflies. We have two air-cons and several fans that keep Myleen's temperature cool. We serve authentic Italian food -including homemade ravioli and lasagna. We also serve authentic Mexican food, American comfort foods, and some of the best Filipino food in town. Reservations are available but not required. Parking is available behind the building-ask for assistance. Myleen's provides a clean, quiet, cozy, family-friendly environment.

My family just moved here and we tried so many places to eat and they were all underwhelming. We saw the sign and decided to try it a few months ago and we are SO glad we did. It's a small charming place. There are so many choices on the menu. Italian, Mexican, Filipino and Western. Everything is prepared fresh. While we wait for the food we use the free WiFi. The food is just delicious. I mean there is actually flavor in the food, which seemed to be missing in most of the other places we tried. My kids LOVE coming here. The owner is always giving them free butterflies or little clip on birds. We even met Myleen when she was finished cooking. Just very nice people. I like the fact that they add new things to the menu so theres always something new to try out. The prices are very very reasonable. Do I sound happy? I am. We finally have a place that is clean, has aircon, has WiFi and has great food. I added some pictures. Thank You and Good Luck to Kerry and Myleen.

A chimichanga is a dish of Spanish origin with a bit of a Southwestern U.S influence. It is basically a burrito that is deep-fried. The fillings in a chimichanga are varied, the same as the burrito fillings. They are wrapped using a flour tortilla. The only additional process they go through that is different from a burrito is deep-frying before being served.
Mylene serves up two plump chimichangas in an order with a side of tasty salsa. Absolutely love these!
My son had the Taco Salad which was served in a crunchy taco salad bowl shell. I have seldom seen him enjoy a meal as much as he did his taco salad,
Mylene's has become our family favorite eating spot in Barretto.

Myleen’s restaurant, located in the heart of Barrio Barretto (on the outskirts of Olongapo City), is my go-to place for dinner pretty much every night. Very good food, reasonably priced. Environment is intimate, quiet and inviting and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s pretty amazing to me that there are so many options on the menu for such as small staff to handle but they make it work.
I mostly phone in orders for delivery which typically arrives within 30 minutes. One new thing to highlight is the fact that recently rolled out a very tasty Beef Stew (pretty close to Mom’s recipe) which is one long-standing favorite that I haven’t been able to find around here… anywhere.
Highly recommended.

Was impressed with my first meal so I went back again and then again. Really was looking forward to Italian so on my next visit I ordered the recommended home made, from scratch, the fresh Tomato soup. It was really very very good Super fresh and tasty. Perhaps one of the better I have had in a long time. I followed this with the Spinach Ravioli and my only complaint was I could not get enough of it. Again so fresh and delicate it practically melted in your mouth.Due to time restraints my next visit was a quick hit and run and I had the spaghetti bolognese. It was very traditional and It hit the spot.

This was my first time at Myleens, I came with my Fiance after searching for somewhere to eat dinner. The ambiance is the first thing you notice, it is very tranquil and they have lovely music playing. We were immediately greeted by the waitress and given a pitcher of water. I ordered the Chong Burritos which were so good that I ordered a second serving to take with me. Even with 3 full entrees the bill was less than 1000 pesos. Excellent service, excellent ambiance, excellent food and excellent prices.

I stayed in Olongapo for three and a half weeks, during this time I ate at my hotel and various other places and found that "Myleen's Cafe" provided uncompromising service and food quality! I ate everything from breakfast to dinner there and it far surpassed the Central Park Reef hotels kitchen which was substandard on a good day. I enjoyed the Mexican dishes with home made tortilla's and salsa and the many Filipino dishes offered and a few of the Italian one's. They make the best spicy Spanish rice I have ever eaten. I really loved the service provided by the attentive wait staff and the warm greeting provided on every entry. I can definitely recommend this restaurant to those who want quality food prepared only when ordered (not sitting under a heat lamp). Finally I found the amount of the servings to be very generous for the price.

This new restaurant in Barretto has only been open 6 weeks but it is already my families number one place to eat. We have been back over 12 times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant has about 7 tables, is very clean and is air conditioned. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff is knowledgeable and courteous.
Myleen is hands on to make sure everything is cooked to perfection. The prices are very fair for the portion size. The food is outstanding. As you can see by my pictures, I am trying so many dishes and they are all full of flavor(something sorely missing here in Barretto).
They are open from 10am to 10pm.

Another great family dinner. The kids shared the pork steak. I enjoyed the Penne Arrabbiata. Great flavor with some heat to it. My wife tried to finish the chicken parm but only got half way finished when the pizza came out. Best pizza in Barretto for sure. Service was excellent as usual.
Besides the food at Myleens, I like the fact that I can enjoy my meal in a quiet environment. The other night a very rude lady was asked by the waitress and then the owner to turn down her cell phone as she was ruining dinner for everyone there. She was having none of it and not only refused to turn down her phone, she was rude and belligerent to everyone. As she was leaving, the owner explained nicely to her that she is welcome to come back but please respect the other customers and not play loud videos. She said she wasn't coming back and she would post about her "horrible experience". Thank You to the owner for trying keep her from ruining everyone else's dinner experience.

Great little restaurant, good menu . Excellent Spaghetti Bolognaise , however they make the mistake of offering one Parmesan cheese for an extra p20. I have never been in a restaurant where this has happened. If they want to charge for it , include it in the overall price,

Concerning the Parmesan cheese, we have talked to customers about charging for Parmesan cheese, and most agreed that we should charge because some people don't want it, so they should not be charged more so that customers like you can have it at no extra charge. You are probably aware that prices for cheese and most other items are rising fast. This is our attempt to keep the cost down as much as possible. Thank you for the review. Found Myleen's one night while out for a walk along the National Highway, and I'm glad I did. Went inside and found a very clean, attractive neat interior. The service and staff are excellent, attentive, friendly. I've eaten here six times now with my girlfriend and family over the last 2 months. The food is very very good. I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far. They have a variety of menu options from western food, to Philippines and Asian dishes. I will look forward to eating here again, and would recommend it to any of my friends visiting here.

Each serving can be shared with a person but once you taste it, you don't want to share! Hahahaha! Since the food is freshly made, especially the pizza, please expect around 20 -30 minutes waiting time.

I live in Olongapo, and so far, this is the best restaurant I can recommend to everyone. They have the best food (I have tried their Ravioli and some other Fil.dish and it was excellent👌). Another good thing is that they are open until 10pm, it's hard to find a restaurant open in Barretto when it's past 8.

Myleen's is the only restaurant in town that doesn't stop coming up with new stuff. The new meatball parm hero was fantastic but the latest items added to the menu really take the cake as we say back in America. Apple pie, Carrot cake, Pecan Pie and Ice cream sandwiches. The kid s loved the ice cream cookie sandwich while we ate the pecan pie and the carrot cake. Simply delicious.

Been about 2 years since my last visit. I said back then that the next time i go I will be trying the much talked about Mexican menu. I walked in and low and behold Robert, the owner, and his wife, the master chef, were sitting at the table closest to the kitchen. Like before i reintroduced myself and asked for his recommendation for Mexican. They suggested a few dishes and i chose the Birria Taco Plate. I asked about a soup recommendation and he suggested the 15 bean soup. Being a bit of a foodie (aren't we all) we chatted about Barretto and Subic restaurants. it was great conversation and i now know a few more places to hit up. During our conversation i noticed the restaurant filled up quickly.
The soup came and it was very hardy and delicious. An excellent appetizer. The beef tacos that followed were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The side dishes of refried beans and rice were a great compliment as was the consume and home made Mexican sauces. A 5 star dinner and experience.. And by the way the service was as good as the food.

An absolute lovely place to eat. Great attentive service from Evelyn from the start, wonderful ambiance, notices on the wall regarding noise from mobile phones, a great menu and very fair prices. I had the Yellowfin tuna and my GF had the fish & chips. Both meals were superb. I would 100% recommend this place and look forward to visiting there again soon.
