Classy restaurant with a varied menu at a gorgeous location right on the river. The food was fresh and tasty albeit a bit pricey. Nelson, our server was the best. Be sure to ask for him when being seated . The sole criticism is that...they've done away with the weekend dress code which added to the unique nature and classiness of the place.More

Classy place. Wonderful river view. Food is uniformly good. Service is extraordinary but be sure to reserve a table and request Nelson as your server. He's the best

It's sad when a place like this lets itself go downhill to the terrible level of service they have been giving these days. Once it was a benchmark for dining in the Red Bank area, but no more. We have hosted several family events here...in the past, so we decided to host a holiday dinner for our relatives and were extremely disappointed. The service was inappropriately overly "familiar" with us yet disinterested at the same time, something I would expect from a bad diner in a TV sitcom and not the Molly Pitcher. They made several mistakes with our order and in each case, when we brought them to the server's attention, rather than correcting them, they would ignore them at first and then double down and argue with us when we continued to point them out. At the end of the meal, we asked the waiter to take a group photo of our party and he decided to make a completely inappropriate joke to us all about a sex offender and suicide. Several members of our party were completely horrified. Never going back. . .More

We had a lunch and a breakfast on two separate days. The best thing about this restaurant is the view. The service was indifferent at best both times. The lunch was ok. Good soup and excellent shrimp cocktail. The breakfast was awful. I had eggs...Benedict and my husband had fruit with yoghurt and supposedly “homemade” granola. It looked and tasted like granola bars purchased from Wawa then broken into small pieces. My eggs Benedict was inedible. Soggy I toasted English muffin with an awful sauce. Tasted like it was out of a packet. We visit the area frequently for cancer treatments at msk. Will continue to look for good places to eat and report back.More

Four for lunch outside at the Molly. Beautiful day, beautiful view up the Navesink. We would have been happy to just sit there without the food, but the food was delicious. Two had prosciutto, Brie and fig jam on baguettes. Lovely. One had the Turkey...club on rye toast and loved it. The fourth had the Molly’s signature burger. She said it was great. All around perfect lunch.More

Stayed at the Molly Pitcher Inn, as we often do. Made their fine restaurant as our first dining location for our get-away vacation. This place never disappoints us. Service was excellent, meal and dessert was above any expectations, and the atmosphere was relaxing. We can’t...say enough how much we enjoy the Molly Pitcher Inn and their restaurant. Many thanks goes to the staff and management.More

Very nice restaurant with an upscale feel located within the Molly Pitcher Inn. White linen tableclothes and nice glassware. We were there for breakfast and really enjoyed the relaxed atmostphere and wonderul views of the bay. They were clearly understaffed, but this is likely a...residual affect of the pandemic. We were in no hurry, so we just relaxed and enjoyed the views. The food was very good and the price was reasonable for the area and the experience. Would go again.More

My wife and I had dinner here on a weeknight in late July 2021. We enjoyed our dinner very much. We sat outside on a large paved plaza overlooking the pool and the waterfront of Navesink River. The food was expensive and good, and the...service was excellent. This is a very large restaurant both indoors and out. We ate here because they accept reservations. We were on vacation in Ocean Grove, a seashore town 30 minutes away, where restaurants do not accept reservations. So we got in the car and went to Molly Pitcher in Red Bank. Good evening, good dinner.More

Last night was our first time at Molly Pitcher. The atmosphere was beautiful and service was great, but a bit disappointed the way things were cooked. The halibut was overcooked and dry, but we'll seasoned. The scallops were overcooked. I had the chowder and that...was very good, but overpriced. The grouper was a disappointment. Overcooked and tiny. Again, it was well seasoned, but overcooked. It could have been an off night for the cook. We will try them one more time.More

Three couples had dinner at the Molly Pitcher last night. We had a nice table in the dining room. We started with wines and beers. There is a decent, but not wonderful selection of wines and a limited selection of beers, especially beers on tap....Two couples shared the Berry salad. It was very good, but it featured a slab of blue cheese and solid candied pecans. They would be better cut up. Two of us had the fettucine Alfredo. Lovely. One had the signature chicken pot pie—nice as always. My wife had the scallops and liked them very much. One diner had the grouper, and liked it. Three chocolate martinis for the ladies for dessert. Service was very friendly and knowledgeable.More

This is a beautiful hotel on the banks of the Navesink River. We have been trying to come here for years and finally made it. We were here for lunch and we were seated inside, our choice, and right at the window with a magnificent...view. There were several tables seated outside, brave soles. We started with the Crab Fondue and French Onion Soup and followed with the Branzino and Diver Scallops. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was incredible and the service could have been better. We were told that there would be a delay with the Crab Fondue, which is to be expected but after the appetizers the service never really improved. There was one waitress responsible for about 10 or 11 tables and it was a stretch for her. I would definitely recommend this for any meal and hopefully the house will provide more wait staff.More

My wife and I have had two recent dinners outdoors at the Molly. They have a broad patio with very well spaced large tables. And a magnificent view up the Navesink River. They have been lovely meals, with one small flaw. Both times we started...(after very well-prepared cocktails) by splitting salads. One was a take on caprese. Both were very nice and large. On both occasions my wife chose the scallops entry. She loved them and, from by taste, I agree. One one occasion I had the Short-Rib burger. Very nice with a lot of condiments and a heap for delicious fries. The other time I chose the buttermilk fried chicken with corn-chipotle waffles. Interesting concept, but I found the chicken tenders, rather than a bone in breast, to be off-putting. Otherwise, two lovely meals.More

Very upset, last night we had reservations for my husband and myself. We got their and only about 5 tables with people. We got a table and waited almost 25 minutes and no one came to take our drink order. Shortly after we arrived two...more tables were seated - the staff went to them for their drink orders and there we sat with no one coming to us. So, we left.... This is horrible especially it was not crowded.More
