Couldn't make a simple skillet.. Potato,...egg, cheese plus meat. SAID NO!!!! OK...So I order different..Omg...Taylor ham raw .Real Potato ok well it wasn't cooked. Whole meal had to be taken off.. Ended w some1 lady saying she was a manager. Stop talking to us and explaining. My husband wants to eat his at least and you are steady trying to explaini.. Actually challenged me being in the Diner business saying she can't wait to see me again at my place of work...WHAT HAPPENED HERE??? IT WAS ALWAYS SO GOOD..NOT NO MORE!!! It was a waste of money, time and gas to come from Belmar..The Acropolis is better. Go figure..More

Arrived here about 10:30 am on a holiday. Was very busy but got seated at a table quickly. The breakfast selection is in enormous, you can get anything from pancakes too Eggs Benedict to omelettes to skillet concoctions. Be aware of the portions are very...generous so you might want to ask for a box to take any extra home.More

My girlfriend and I were called today at 11:50 to be seated. She was trying to explain to the hostess that she crossed off the wrong name but she countered Well you got a text didn’t you? Then made a face. We were happy to...move away from her lol and be seated. Crystal our waitress was so nice and the food was good. Another couple came in and I saw an encounter as they were seated with the same little gal so I asked if they had a problem also. They did. I did see her smile some of the time so hope the rest of her day was a little happier for her.More

The food is very consistent, and I mean consistently delicious! The owner is very involved in her business and is there working on a regular basis. Probably the best pancakes in New Jersey. No Joke!

I recognize that Amy's has partially reopened from COVID-19 with a reduced menu. However, the reuben melt contained chewy meat and grizzle. The sandwich was very greasy and I needed an antacid. The All American omelette was very good, but not hot. I hope that...they return to the previous quality when the pandemic is over.More

For my adult daughter's birthday we wanted to celebrate with a special brunch. But where to go in Monmouth County that also offers gluten free dishes. Then we remembered a place we have visited 3 years ago by the shore called Amy's Omelette House in...Long Branch. It is located within the contemporary setting of the Ursula Plaza strip mall but inside the décor is a throw back to old time, nostalgic NJ – with merry-go-round horses, an old sail boat, local scenic pictures and picture framed vintage music albums mounted on the walls. They offer an enormous menu and large servings of great food. Though their menu does not mention it Amy's can accommodate gluten free customers. In addition by the entrance they have a waiting room with a chalk board and picture gallery of kids art work they created while waiting for their meals to be served and there is small room off to the side with mechanized rides for toddlers. Amy's Omelette house is open for business from 7AM to 8PM all days except Sundays when they close at 4PM and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. But its main selling point is its unique collection of 200 omelets - international themed, out of state themed, seafood, healthy choice and country style omelettes as well as 30 different kinds of pancakes and french toast. Some dishes are odd or unusual for your typical NJ shore restaurant bunch menu like fish and grits, nutella pancakes, crepes, biscuit and gravy, chicken and waffles, root beer floats, etc. There were six in our party and we visited Amy's on a Saturday at 10 :30 AM. We were immediately escorted to our table. Everyone in our party ordered from the breakfast menu. I ordered the Bear omelet which is a bacon and cheddar cheese omelet topped with sour cream and an olive and served with a potato pancake and toasted wheat bread. The omelet and the potato pancakes were incredible. They were very well seasoned. The servings were huge. I did not finish my meal and ate what was left over for breakfast the next day and the rest for lunch the day after that. I highly recommend this dish. Others at our table ordered the Western omelet, Potato pancake meal and a traditional Breakfast meal of eggs, toast and sausage. The others were equally impressed. Some dishes came with a side order of eggs and was requested to be covered in cheese to make them more flavorful. For the gluten free people in our group the waitress was very helpful in selecting their meals. There was a gluten free child who loves french fries but we were warned that the french fries are not safe. But the dishes that contained home fries are safe for gluten free eaters – like the skillets. We had two who were gluten free in our party – an adult and a child. The gluten free adult ordered the chorizo skillet which is home fries with chorizo sausage, onions, pepper, cheese and eggs. The gluten free child ordered The Whale from their kids menu which is bacon with home fries. They both very much enjoyed their meals. Their dishes came with toast which we ordered for others in our party to eat or take home for later. This place is ideal spot for a great, fun family brunch plus you are a short drive to the beach.More

Went to Amy's for breaksfast with 2 friends. Staff & our waitress were very friendly. Two complaints tho,my eggs & potatoes were cold. One of my friend's eggs were not prepared the way she asked. No problem as they gave her a fresh serving of...eggs the way she ordered. Would I return there again....yes I would as the cold food may have been a fluke at the time that we went.More

We've eaten here several times, but this is my first review. Their omelettes, pancakes, burgers and open faced sandwiches are all excellent! I recommend the special omelettes, French toast, and the combination turkey/corned beef ruebens are great. The service was excellent, and the prices are...reasonable for being across from the Atlantic Ocean.More

Had a small wait on Labor Day. Tremendous selection. Large portions. My omelet in a pan came out hot and was delicious. My wife had pancakes and bacon. Well made but bacon a little too smoky for our taste but that's not a knock. Look...forward to going back there for lunch or dinnerMore
