The range of reviews for this 260+ year old inn is surprising, leading me to believe the Inn and its staff has good days and bad days. Since they also have a banquet hall, I wonder if the bad days coincide with large parties in...More

Recently attended an event here. Food was good and the venue is very nice. Service at one of the makeshift bars that was setup was a bit off and slow. Other than that, very nice restaurant.

Had lunch with some friends today and it was a disaster! We were a group of six and waited for well over an hour for our meals! Most of the group all had Reuben sandwiches while I had Chicken Piccata and another had the Chicken...More

This is a 18 century built historic place, nice place but I feel their food is over cooked. I attend a business promotion dinner, eat and learn section. Location is not isolated enough so we always hear next room conversation, sure our speaker will affect...More

Every experience I have ever had at the cranbury inn reminds me to never go back again. Terrible food, presentation and decent service staff plus the pomposity of the owners is overwhelming

I recently attended an event at the Cranbury Inn and had the opportunity to meet the owners who shared the history of the inn. If you’re a history buff and can appreciate architecture I’d recommend a stop here. The atmosphere was very welcoming, food decent....More

I attended a wedding reception here and was impressed. The room was large and staff was friendly and efficient. The only problems that I noticed was during cocktail hour there was only 1 bartender who was completely overwhelmed. Having sympathy for her went only so...More

The service was not great although the restaurant was barely crowded. There were maybe 10 tables full. The food was not really good and somewhat tasteless. I was very much not impressed.

Our travels to Long Island have us returning to NJ just around dinner time. Since the Cranbury Inn is basically on the way home, we decided to try eating there. It was a hot night, and the porch looked inviting, so we got a table...More

the day we attended a wedding there, the downtown area was packed with people - it was a Sunday late afternoon. It looked like a great place to shop, eat at a cafe, etc. but I did not pay attention to off street parking... More
