This was our first time experiencing this well know steak house. All our friends raved about this place from the food to the environment. I must say it gives you a wonderful old Vegas feel and very chic. I loved the environment, but the food...fell short. I was NOT impressed at all with food. It was pretty bland and just no flavor. I felt Like I was eating food for old people that couldn’t have salt. If you want a great steak I wouldn’t recommend this place for your first visit to Vegas. When we left after paying our $300 tab my husband and I felt cheated lol. We ended up grabbing Hell’s Kitchen to go for some satisfaction, which is where we should’ve went in the first place. But for classic bland no flavor food definitely give this place a try.More

We have been to many....but this one took the cake. Excellent, big 16 oz loin that hit the spot. We LOVE the old Vegas vibe and Sinatra music playing in the background. If you haven't been before, treat yourself. It is worth every penny. Nice...to be pampered.More

There were 6 in our party for a birthday celebration. The location seemed a little iffy at first but from the moment we walked in the door everything was amazing. Wonderful history to this restaurant! Servers were very accommodative and the steak was the best...we have ever had (and we are from Texas!). I would highly recommend for any special occasion while traveling to Vegas.More

Recently had a wedding dinner at the Golden Steer and it was an exceptional evening. Wasn't sure what to expect during these trying times but the staff did a great job making it a night to remember for the bride and groom. The food was...excellent and service outstanding. Thanks to Jonathan who did an amazing job for us during dinner, explaining the menu and giving us a bit of history on the Golden Steer. The cake presentation for dessert finished off a marvelous meal we soon will not forget. Thanks again to all the staff at Golden Steer.More

The ambience is terrific with the wonderful service that we receive the setting is consistent with an old fashion steakhouse with linen tablecloth’s and napkins and very good food, but very expensive.

I can't say enough about the meal we had at the Golden Steer. We selected this for our one fancy steak dinner while we were in Vegas and I am so glad we did. Service was amazing, we had the Tomahawk special to split between...hubby and I and it was genuinely the best steak I've ever eaten in my life. The cook, the flavor, the seasoning, everything was perfect. The ambiance is the perfect "old school Vegas" vibe and loved seeing the little plaques telling you which booths were favored by which celebrities. If we ever make it back to Vegas again we will go back to the Golden Steer without hesitation!More

My buddy and I decided to try this iconic restaurant in Vegas and we weren't disappointed. He ordered the 12 ounce filet mignon and I got the bone in Ribeye. Both of our steaks was cooked perfectly. But the food is only part of the...equation. The history of this place is amazing with past patrons like the Rat Pack, mobsters, Elvis, the list goes on and on. The lighting contributes to the ambiance. An absolute wonderful time. If you're in Vegas it's a must do. They are not cheap but worth every dime.More

It was like walking back in time. You would think the rat pack should be sitting next to you. Is that Dean Martin? No. Such good service. They toss the salad at the table. Bring you anything you want. Awesome steaks...oh my. Be hungry if...you go in there.More
