This place has some great eats all day long! I like the steak and eggs breakfast with the house potatoes. Made fresh and fast!

Never run out of variety of places to eat to the Rio and this was another great choice for a fairly quick mean between events at a convention. The pizza slices are huge and very tasty.
Basic food for someone in a hurry and not too expensive. Maybe a bigger variety of food would help boost sales.
I decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat at the sports deli and order a salad. I ordered the Athens salad which comes with grilled chicken. The grilled chicken is cold but was very moist and cooked well and was a pretty...good portion of chicken. The accoutrements on the lettuce was the usual Greek style salad offerings which included; kalamata olives, feta cheese, pepperoncini peppers, roasted red peppers, cucumbers, red onions with an Italian style dressing. Nothing to really celebrate but a solid good salad. service was friendly and they prepared my salad quickly, although I was the only person in line at the time.More
Going to Vegas is always a bit expensive. It's Vegas. This is basically a take out joint where you can watch sports which is great. The pizza looked good. I had a simple ceasar salad which had the fixings and the sauce on the side...which I like.More
The Sports Deli at the Rio was an excellent choice! My husband and I ordered The Penalty burger and split it. The burger came with delicious, very hot freshly cooked fries. The food was delicious! The cooks were very friendly and the gal who took...our order was very nice! Great place to eat!!More
Each burger, they give you plenty of french fries with your order. The staff were very friendly and perfessional.
We’ve been coming here for several years and it’s been good. The menu changed a couple of years ago and I miss some of the sandwiches and soups they used to have, but it’s sill good. It is expensive but that is to be expected....Good place to go and it’s very convenient, plus, it’s open most of the day.More
For $7.95 you can get a great pizza slice at this location - one of the best dining deals at Rio if you don't want a $20 cheeseburger or $40 steak in one of their restaurants.
These guys do make a decent pizza, and available either as custom-made whole pies or by the slice. A little spendier than your average pizzeria, but it's casino food so you expect the prices to be a little higher.
The MGM is so large you are bound to have sore feet. I did so this was a great stop over and I remember how pleasant the lady was behind the counter. Very attentive and probably the best server of anything I had during my...Vegas trip. This is your typical grab and go place with drink options you'd expect and light mealsMore
I ordered 1 burger. You'll wait forever for a 14$ burger. Ordering is fast. Getting out is a bear. Run elsewhere if possible.
This is a place to order food when you want to watch games at the Sports Book at the Rio Hotel. The salads were good, and the burgers were OK. Sometimes the service was good, and at other times they just did not have enough...people, so it is kind of a crap shoot (but hey, you are in Vegas....).More
Ordered take out, only because of the smell of smoke from the Casino. Rueben with fries is almost $20. Could go to Guys place, but wanted a change. Rueben was tasty and fresh, fries double battered. Again, just can't get used to the smell of...cigarette smoke!More
I ate one time at the sports deli many years ago. It was awful. How bad can typical American, bar and pizza be? Was sitting in the rio sports book Monday night watching the new England Patriots decimate the new york jets. But as I...was watching the game, noticed the food being purchased at this place. Tuesday afternoon i was watching a couple of horse races at the rio sports book. Was fiending for a hamburger. Only problem was that smashburger was all the way at the other part of the casino. Instead of waiting and walking I decided to place an order with the sports deli. I was the only person at the counter at the time. The Monday night cook was fast. As soon as I saw the Tuesday afternoon one, knew I was in trouble. Ordered an MVP burger with an order of French fries. It took this man almost 20 minutes to complete my one simple order? What happens on a typical weekend football day or night? The burger was dry, tasteless and overcooked. I was impressed at the round rotating grill. Lol thought to myself this hamburger will taste great? Not! 😭 anyway so I sat down and started eating. I was starving. Would have eaten a hockey puck if it had a bun. Lol The French fries were like nothing I ever tasted in my entire like. Horrible. With a capital H. They looked like oversized wise potato sticks I used to eat when I was a kid. Best part of the burger was the fresh jalapenos and quarter slice of pickle hiding under this mess. My advice to you? DON'T GO! Smashburger blows this dud away. ANOTHER TOMMY "G" TRIP ADVISOR REVIEW YOU CAN MORE THAN TRUST! Oh forgot to mention my order was number 10 which was first. 9 11 and 12 were filled before mine! AWFUL!More
