After a morning visit to the Verdon Gorge, we headed to the Village Cliousclat and were told by one of the shop keepers there that the restaurant La Treille Muscate was the place to go to. As we did not have a reservation, it was...amazing that the Patron was kind enough to accept us, and our experience there was a Home Run! My starter was their vegetable ravioli with a mushroom and shrimp sauce, and for the main the Lamb with a side of tomato risotto . Without question, the ravioli (I think the best I ever had), along with the lamb course, and wine, were 2 thumbs up. Would go back there again in a heartbeat for lunch or dinner!! My wife and her cousin Flo, had other choices and thought they were excellent too!!More

An excellent place close to the waterfall, fresh air during the lunch time. We have tasted a fantastic starter based on Ravioli, and as main course we tasted lamb. Both dishes were fantastic

The food, the place and the service were correct but unfortunately, the lady managing the place misbehaved. This unfriendly person did not have any flexibility for us and for our children and was not nice at all with the family...

Dinner. Oh dear, « single older woman dining alone » complex kicked in upon entering restaurant...thé worst table in the house right next to the door, on a very cold windy night with other tables available. Strong points. Good service and Mm Mireille. Tapenade...too TOO...salty. Amuse bouche..cold cauliflower soup on a freezing cold evening? Risotto de champions avec pulpe et lamelles de parmesan. Risotto re heated and overcooked. Octopus delicious and tender. Parmesan...sad industrial morcels not fresh. Souris d’agneau et purée de pdt ail noir et légumes de saison. ENORMOUS piece of meat in a tasty sauce BUT served in a bowl which made eating difficult as the dish tipped and danced when trying to dissect the meat. Vegetables: style over substance. ONE slice of overcooked courgette rendered inedible having been speared by a brin de rosemary and leaf of radicchio. ONE slice of overcooked Carrot. ONE slice of overcooked unidentifiable root veg. ONE soggy piece of overcooked broccoli. All sitting atop the measlyest portion of potato imaginable. Fromage. A particularly nasty concoction of creamed cheese atop a teaspoon of not nice confit onion on a tough croute. Déssert...disagreeable in mouth grainy mousse de ricotta, excellent orange sauce and superbe tuilles..with an odd bâton de meringue or was it a marshmallow? Excellent coffee. 39€ for the menu plus 10€ for st pelligrino and a coffee. Would I return? possibly.More

We came as a party of five and the terrace was already full- they seated us with a smile and dealt with our food allergy/fussy eaters with grace. The meal was excellent, as was the wine suggestion. We have recommended this place to many friends...as it's not always simple to find a quality meal in a town with such heavy tourism trade. Local tomatoes and cheeses, veggies from the market- such a treat!More

Beautiful setting and excellent food and service. Our hotelier kindly made us a reservation. After aperitifs, we enjoyed their menu bistro with foie gras and lapin. We were pleased that cuisse de lapin consisted of leg and thigh — not a dish we normally order,...but it was quite good. All went well with a 2015 Domaine Diane red. Service was friendly and efficient. We highly recommend.More

We booked a table at this restaurant to spend our last evening at Moustiers. It was a complete disappointment. First, we had to wait for about 15 minutes until they open it though we came just in time. We asked a waitress if they are...open, she asked to wait for 5 minutes, In 15 minutes people just came in - the waitress did not invite us to enter though she could see we were waiting outside. The waiter did speak English, but the menu was only in French. The selection of dishes was quite poor - I wanted to have some meat, but they only had some lamb (and I do not eat it) and something very specific from local food like beef cheeks... So I had to take fish. The portion was just tiny, and the presentation just awful - like from the 19th century. Several pieces of parsley were pulled in the middle of every dish - looks like the dish was cooked by their dishwasher, not the chef. The taste of it was very neutral - close your eyes and you will never tell what exactly you are eating. Don't forget that the restaurant is recommended by Michelin guide! The service was slow, the waitress was very strange and broke some glasses (drunk???) Paid quite a sum of money and left hungry and very disappointed. Do not recommend this place to anyone.More

Very pleasant dining area- indoor and outdoors next to the stream. Very busy but thanks to the manager, service was very good and efficient. The food was refined and excellent. The selection of wines was very good and the waiters were knowledgeable about them. Prices...for food and wine were reasonable.More

The food here was very nice but helpings on the smallish side. The three course bistro lunch is 29 euros and is a good choice for those who want a nice lunch on a budget. The truffle mashed potato with the french lamb was particularly...tasty. I enoyed the terrace, and they have earned a michelin rating.More

So sorry. I'm not sure. I would like to think that the restaurant would accommodate a gluten free diet but I would call them to check.
