Located on the river directly behind the Bass Pro. The scenery is definitely the best thing about this restaurant. There's a pretty small menu, and everything is priced like I'm at some fancy restaurant. The food was okay. I've had worse, but I've definitely had...better. Not sure how it was allegedly voted best overall restaurant in Branson.More

We have been to White River House as we frequent Branson. This year we expected increased wait times due to short staff. We waited an hour at the bar, great service and anticipated the waIt. Then they sat people in the middle of the restaurant,...wondering why if your largest amenities is the view, why not seat people there. when you have 50% seating capacity. Our server was stressed, but great. The food was mediocre at best.More

We were so disappointed in this restaurant. Location is beautiful but the food was horrible. My husband had catfish and fries. Catfish had no seasoning; the French fries were good. I had the coconut shrimp with broccoli. Both had good flavor but the shrimp was...greasy and soggy on the bottom from grease. The broccoli over cooked and was brown. The manager said it was blanching and the waitress said it was seasoning. I cook broccoli at home and this was broccoli starting to turn bad. The hostess was very nice but our waitress didn’t offer more drink and wasn’t pleasant at all. I don’t like to give bad reviews but this was a deserved one.More

We have eaten here before with better results. I ordered the fried shrimp and it was breaded and flat. When I bit into it, some pieces did not have any evidence of shrimp inside the breading. Some pieces were better than others, but overall, not...good. My husband ordered the house speciality with a lobster sauce and liked it okay. Our server was friendly enough, but seemed to be overworked, like many servers who are working now.More

We are repeat customers, but this time we brought 8 other people with us! We celebrated our wedding with a dinner at the fish house for the group. We were seated in a timely manner in a private room and enjoyed a timely and delicious...meal as always. The only disappointment was that I couldn't reserve the room ahead of time for such a big group.More

I know four stars means checking most all the boxes and this restaurant did, for us at least. We were warmly greeted. We asked to be seated outside since we brought our golden Hank. Maisel was excellent. He brought hank a bowl of water. He...brought cornbread and whipped butter to start. Hubs had the islamadora with potatoes and broccoli. Delish although potatoes could have been seasoned. I had the mahi fish tacos, grilled and they were some of the best I have had. Portions were generous. The staff was courteous and friendly. The restaurant was clean and seemed to be following Covid protocol. We had a great experience. The view of the white river was just beautiful. I would definitely recommend and definitely return.More

The food and service was good at one time but this time it was really bad. The restaurant was not crowded at all. We were seated quickly but waited and waited for a Server. There was plenty of people working so I don’t get the...slow service. She finally came, took our drink order and we waited again. She brought barely cold tea. It needed more ice so I requested it. I had to ask twice to get ice. My husband ordered chicken tenders and fries. I ordered fried shrimp and fries. My shrimp looked and tasted very greasy and it looked like frozen out of the supermarket. It wasn’t good at all. Our fries were warm, not crisp and just frozen fries fried. My husband’s chicken tenders looked the same, straight from a box. The cornbread that was brought was barely warm and dry. I got a small tiny cup of coleslaw with my horrible shrimp. It was ok. This food is way too expensive to be charged the price. They do not have all the items listed on their website. The menu was very limited and nothing special. If Bass Pro still owns this restaurant please over haul it or close it. Being on the water they need to offer fresh seafood not frozen supermarket food. We paid way too much for a bad meal and will not come back.More

We had dinner at this restaurant. Food was tasty and plentiful, the restaurant is right on the water, service was good and prices reasonable. Would go back another time.

Seriously thought this place would be great. Rude staff greeted us on the way in. After being rudely snapped at we walked out. I’ll never spend money at this place and most likely not return to Bass Pro. Massively overrated and overly self important staff...isn’t worth my time.More
