About
In 1984 Larry and Jeanette Rogers made the move of their dreams. They loved the Ozark Mountains and while they owned their own restaurant in Lafayette, Louisiana their hearts belonged to Missouri. With each other, they took a leap of faith. Starvin' Marvin's was originally in a log cabin just west of Silver Dollar City. As Branson boomed, Starvin' Marvin's moved to the "strip." Locals came to enjoy the quality of their homemade food. Cashew and Sweet & Sour chicken, hand battered onion rings, smoked BBQ ribs and saddle blanket sized pork tenderloin were just a few of the favorites. In 1994, they decided to bring some of their own heritage Cajun cooking into Marvin's. Known for their "seafood

We stopped in here for a late lunch and left filled to the brim! There is a great menu, but we opted of the seafood buffet. It was very good. The service was fast & efficient. All you can eat. Salad bar & dessert. There...was cobbler & ice cream for dessert.More

This was the worst experience money wise I have ever had in Branson. We paid $11.99 for a kids buffet and added crab legs at market price which was $20.00 but because the waitress said that would be about 3 clusters we went ahead and...ordered thinking they would be nice sized crab but when they brought them they were so small you could hardly peel them out. What a RIP off and the buffet was bad too. Won't be backMore

We went for the crab legs. They were a ad on. $20 per lb. we ordered the Buffett and a lb. of crab legs. Frog legs and crawdads are on the Buffett. I eat neither. The crab legs were small and cooked incorrectly. I might...have got 2 good bites. I complained about the quality but no results. The meal for 2 was $77 with tip. I was as hungry when I left as when I got there! Please don’t advertise the best legs because they are not!More

Decent place to eat but nothing really special. Large selection on buffet. Food was edible but mediocre at best. Pricing was fairly expensive. Personally won’t visit again.

They were busy, yet we got seated quickly. Our waitress, Kelly, was the BEST! She was so personable & friendly! She was a step ahead of our needs the entire time & accommodated our time crunch of an upcoming show that night! The food was...so good & well above expectations! Best food of our 3 days thus far! Thank you Kelly for a wonderful experience to go along with amazing food!More

Great location, good service, but poor food experience. We ordered from the menu and had one person from our party order crab legs. The salad had a dead fly in it. The waitress promptly spoke to the manager on duty. His visit to the table...was accusatory and asked me how it happened and what did I want him to do about it. I wasn’t really sure how to respond but stated we just wanted the rest of the meal to go well. He offered that we could get dessert from the buffet. The crab legs were cold and we couldn’t get anything from them. The waitress noticed the whole table trying to work on the crab legs and back to the manager she went. He stated they are having issues with their crab legs and brought out more to try out. We were able to get 2 parts out and then back to slivers at best. After some hesitation stated he would remove this part of the meal from the bill. It was all a little odd. Flies were all over and landing on the food and us. My meal was not made right and another just received a bag of chips as a side. Such an expensive meal for the experience and we had to go elsewhere to have a good meal. When we paid and stated it was ok, she asked just ok? She then gave a smirk and thank us for visiting. The manager was up front but didn’t acknowledge us. Maybe this was a normal experience?More

No social distancing or masks by any of the staff or customers. As we entered there were no signs or directions as to where to go or what to do. Some of the desk clerks were busy chatting amongst themselves. When we’re finally seated we...got our plates and were confused by the tiny foodbar. The sign outside said all you can eat SEAFOOD but the only seafood there was crablegs and shrimp. The buffet was more cajun style. Very misleading. The food was very salty. If you order there make sure to also order water.More
