I'm sad writing this review because I think it is important to support local non-franchise restaurants. If you look at past reviews I've written, my default is to be kind and understanding. We ate here because my sister felt it was the ideal location for...a Saturday night Mother's Day dinner. We had a 5 p.m. reservation that we were on-time for. Our waitress, a friendly woman name Sharon, greeted us right away before telling us "not to hurry, but she has to turn the table by 7p.m." I understand we weren't going to stay there all night. She reminded us serval more times about needing to be done by 7 p.m. There are better ways to move folks along. Btw, we asked for out check at 6:35 p.m. and were out the door by 6:50 p.m. Let's talk about food. I grew up in nearby Minnesota and I've lived in Wisconsin for a couple decades. Wisconsin is the land of the supper club. This place is over-priced priced for the quality of what you get. I have no problem paying $26 for a walleye entree if it's done well. The breaded and fried piece I was served was plain, bland, tasteless, etc. I bet it went straight from the freezer to fryer to the plate. A little bit of Old Bay spice, lemon pepper or smoother light seasoning would have made. huge difference. Also, don't serve tartar sauce in a tiny plastic container. Be a little classy, and serve it in small dish. Maybe I should have ordered steak. Two folks at our table ordered ribeye steaks. One said the cut they had was not the greatest quality. The other person said the current was fine, but felt it was just tossed on a grill with no seasoning or aging. I asked my son how his $26 baby back ribs were. He said the menu was correct, they were lean to the point of lacking meat. The BBQ sauce was nothing special. Maybe this is a place where you should just order prime rib. No one in our group ordered it so I can't write about it. The dinner salad was a small handful of iceberg lettuce, one cherry tomato and a small single cucumber slice. The dressing came in a small plastic cup. Again, the lack of quality rears its ugly head. Just a spring mix of arugula, radicchio, escarole, Romaine would have been a a welcome difference. A neighboring table ordered shrimp cocktail and its presentation was fantastic. With the lack of flavor our meals had, it makes me wonder if the cocktail was bland like ketchup or brimming with fresh nasal-passage-clearing horseradish. The place has an expansive bar and for dessert they do serve the traditional ice cream drinks. My mom thought about ordering one, but at age 90 she don't want to feel rushed. In the restaurant's defense, they were busy so their future may be intact. I've been to so many restaurants that are so much better at this price point or lower that I can't recommend this.More

First time visit to this restaurant. Was greeted by sign on the door that said masks were not mandatory and visit at your own risk. Disappointed to see that the staff were not wearing masks. We apologized and left before ordering.

The food is very good, it must be we drive 40 miles to get there. My wife had the small Filet and it was perfect. I had the Prime Rib Special and it was just okay. It was very tasty but it had a little...more fat than I like. Will we be going back there again, you bet we will. Even though we have to make a long drive to get there, it's worth every mile.More

We had my son's rehersal wedding dinner here. There were about 50 people. I have never been to this restaurant but for sure will visit again. When picking the menu the staff was very helpful. Jesse was awesome. The night of the dinner the staff...members were friendly, attentive and and were great to work with. The FOOD was awesome. We had no complaints and everyone loved it. For not knowing what kind of restaurant this was as we live out of state it was fabulous. I would come here again and highly recommend this for an event or just dinner.More

Dinner on our way to Treasure Island concert last night. This old world supper club was fantastic. Service was outstanding. The Petite filet's exceptionally well prepared. Loved the bread and relish dish My Old Fashioned was possibly the best I'd had in 30 years. They...do Ice Cream drinks! Two steak dinners and two drinks was $50. A bargain. We tipped well as we loved the experience. Worth the beautiful drive down from St Paul.More

From the moment I walked in, everything was spot on. I was seated right away. Cocktail served prompted, was refreshing and ample. Salad was just standard fare; the “relish tray” was a cup with carrot & celery sticks. I enjoyed an entree of tenderloin and...shrimp - meat was cooked perfectly and shrimp was large and good. No room for dessert. Looking forward to the next visit to try something else.More

Food was good. At our table everyone pretty much ordered something different and everyone was more than happy with their selection. Our server was wonderful and even gave us some history on the owners and the blue cheese French dressing mixture. Very good deserts also!...The only downfall for me was the baked sweet potatoe. It was all mushy. I couldn't even eat it. Not sure if like that everyday or not though. It was my 1st time there. I did expect it to be a little fancier of a resturant too, but it is not dumpy by far. Wonderful menu selection and very reasonably priced. I will be back! I had the ribs & shrimp this time, but want to try the broiled halibut. I tasted someone else's and it was really good.More

They absolutely can. They do many large groups and banquets. You would need to call ahead of time for availability. Great staff, owners and meals.

They have a number of rooms of various sizes so they may very well be able to handle that size of a group. I agree with Rusty above, I would give them a call and check it out. Good luck. I hope it works out.
