What a fantastic little gem this place is. The ambience and decoration are fantastic - it houses the owner’s collection of Adriatic maritime memorabilia, from a flag of the Imperial Japanese navy to swords to portraits of admirals from all manner of fleets. He informed us it’s the largest collection of its kind and I was happy to take him at his word! All the furniture and crockery is authentically vintage too, bought from various eBay listings across Europe. We visited twice in two days on our honeymoon and had the 4 cheese plate and anchovies on both occasion. The cheeses were absolutely delicious and the drinks menu very varied. I was personally delighted to find a very tasty IPA having struggled to find one elsewhere over previous days. I also tried the Matusalem rum which, again, was delicious. My wife had fun & tonic, and a variety of wines, all of which hit the spot, though to be fair you can’t miss with wine in Croatia. The owners are also very friendly and we had good chats to them both times. Will definitely return when next on Vis.

We had a great time here late one night during an overnight port stay in Vis. Walking by, we were intrigued by the "Build Your Own Gin and Tonic" menu. The owner and his son were great. They helped everyone in our party choose a gin and tonic combo that matched our personal tastes. The local HUM587 gin that they served was stellar and the drinks were very generous pours. The owner also had a lengthy and passionate conversation with my son about the naval history of the area and the naval relics and memorabilia that decorate the bar. Živjeli!

This is really really quality bar with wide range of really good drinks from specialty coffee served in most artistic beautiful way till making your gin at night. Really wow
It is situated in old stone house in second street in center of Vis, wich is turned into museum of old Vis wich is actually private collection of owner.
Most lavish furniture with beautiful deco and drinks will leave anyone speachless.
Enjoy your time and visit this hidden gem of Vis ☀️

cosy ambience in a small narrow alley (kala) with great creamy tasty coffee, in a old fancy royal cups, few biscuits called Viški cvit. here you feel like lokal, even though there are so many people from Zagreb like us. Small tables with two chairs and wooden bench across the street takes us back to the past.
It is our coffee point in the morning and vine in the evening for the entire vacation.

Very cozy wine and gin bar in a cute alley. We sat outside, inside is a space with a lot of old artifacts. Attentive staff with pleasant attitude (which is not always the case in Vis or Croatia unfortunately) that helped recommend what gin, tonic and “topping” that would go well together. Very tasty.

We wanted to repeat the experience from last year, but unfortunately the bar still hasn't opened its doors. Very interesting wine bar located in a narrow alley with a lot of old museum objects worth visiting this bar. They have a good selection of wines with local tapas. Recommendation to the owner to open at an earlier date :)

This for us is NOT a place for a full meal but it is an excellent place for a light lunch, or say light dinner after a big lunch.
They have a “make your own gin and tonic” menu which was really cool. I ended up with a fantastic gin and tonic.
We shared a really beautiful charcuterie board with wonderful cheeses. I asked the server to pair the wine and neither of us were disappointed.

Really nice coffe shop. Friedly staff, nice drinks and good coffe. Perfectly air conditioned as well :-)
Not any more pricy than you'd expect on a holiday destination. Highly recommended.

Our cruise manager recommended going here for wine tasing & learning about Adriatic naval history. We had some delicious appetizers & the wine was incredible. The owner has a large collection of Adriatic naval artifacts. It was very interesting to hear about the history while enjoying the wine.

Such a unique wine bar with excellent food, wine, and staff. The owner has curated an incredible collection of artifacts from different countries. There’s so much to appreciate with this place. Must visit while on Vis!
