Busy day so some is understandable but to put a round table of 6 next to the host station in the path of all people that need to be seated as well as the path to the 2nd entrance leading to the out door bar...is straight up moronic! Imagine the joy of peoples butts next to your table as they wait…and getting your chair bumped every time people are taken to a table. Whoever designed the layout of this restaurant is a joke…but the view is stunning. The host is exemplary…the service is spotty. They could have sold a lot more drinks if they didn’t take so long to get. Again they were packed and staffing is tough so I’m not saying anything. The food was plastic tasting, bagged, burnt, dry, greasy and flavorless. The sauces need serious help, the menu is too disjointed for me. I didn’t even understand the sampler appetizer because usually I can at least say go for drinks and an apple and enjoy the view but maybe you could try the pizza or weirdly the sushi.More

The noise on the end room was horrible.. so loud... the food was delicious... would not go back unless the noise was better.. standing in the main room seemed to be less noise

I w as looking for something simple. The Heights salad looked good, so I ordered it for takeout. When I got home it was the wrong salad with the correct chicken and not the entree size. I got a house salad with the chicken for...the Heights. It was not the busy for the fining room so there is really no excuse. To bad, great spot. No attention to simple detail.More

This restaurant has reopened after extensive renovations, and is a gem by the beach! Good food, great service, live entertainment, and awesome service make this your best choice for waterfront fun and dining in Falmouth. Afternoon views of the beach are unbeaten, evening dinner and...drinks are fantastic, and later music and dancing are the best.More

We’ve been visiting this restaurant for years - as BBC and then Shipwrecked when they bought it last year. They just reopened after months of renovations and we are very disappointed with the menu and atmosphere. It is clean and attractive but they play the...music extremely loudly to the point where we couldn’t even talk. And the menu has been pared way back to offer mostly bar food and and a large sushi menu. It appears as though they are trying to appeal to a very different crowd - young partiers perhaps. If you like a loud restaurant with bar food, pizza and sushi - this place is for you. If you want great American sandwiches and entrees in an environment where you can enjoy each other’s company you should go somewhere else. Sadly, we live right down the street but we will be going elsewhere.More

Shipwrecked is a wonderful addition to the oceanfront at the Heights in Falmouth. Shipwrecked has a fun vibe and a very friendly staff. The management team take great care to make the customer #1. Great food and drink at reasonable prices and fabulous sushi bar....Live music and terrific outside dining add to the ocean front experience.More

Used to come here when it was the British Beer Company. Was not sure we going to like the changes but we did. Love the giant pretzel. Menu is almost the same as the British one. Basic pub food well prepared. New outdoor dining section...with gorgeous Martha’s Vineyard sound views.More

One of our traditional afternoons/evenings out is to patronize the British Beer Company, on the waterfront, in Falmouth. We were sad to see it was no longer there (after many years), but was now a restaurant called "Shipwrecked." The name alone suggests Seafood & we...were happy to try this new place. They had very few "seafood" dishes, mostly fish. The food was average tasting - nothing outstanding; prices were also average. The Server we had was quite nice and attentive, The atmosphere was just not the same as the BBC - and we missed that. We did have a bit of an issue of our arrival, as we have mobility issues; one needing a cane & one a walker. There is a double-door entry (as with many restaurants). This one is very small with hardly room for 2 people and a walker. We struggled to get 1 door open, step inside & access the 2nd door. We look inside and straight ahead were 3 employees all talking & laughing & they looked right at us & didn't take one step to assist us entering. I'd suggest looking elsewhere; the only thing this place really has going for it: the beautiful ocean views, however, you can get those views elsewhere & with better food.More

We're looking for a place to eat outside. They have large area across from beach. Sat there watched ocean and had a great meal. Thought it would be basic pub food but much more. Salmon and Mai Mai both great.

Just spent three nights in East Falmouth at the InnSeason Surfside down the road and enjoyed dinner twice at Shipwrecked, it was not only convenient but also delicious food! The nachos were amazing... very generous portion too. Steak teriyaki was excellent. My daughter and I...shared their enormous pretzel.. when we were waiting for our table and she saw one of the servers walk by with it, she decided we had to try it. Great vibe here. My only recommendation is to come early. Like so many places these days, they are short staffed so we had about an hour wait both times. The first night we used that time to check into our hotel then came back an hour later and our table was ready in a few minutes. Love the location, directly across the street from the ocean. Highly recommend!More
