I just love this place. We have been coming here since it was Travs biker bar in the 60’s for chili. The staff are very kind and New Year’s Eve is really fun with the live country music. Salmon frequently, fish and chips good, most...everything works , the chef stumbles occasionally but kudos for sticking your neck out. Outdoors dining is really good in Covid era. Just a good place to decompress. Wish they ran GAA football in the bar. TboneMore

What always is a pleasant experience!! We were greeted by Frank and exchanged some pleasantries. Frank escorted us to a small room with a fireplace. We were the only two people eating in this small room. The waiter was so polite and knowledgeable of the...menu choices and recommendations. We selected the Shepard's pie. An enjoyable meal. They turned on the electric fireplace to add a nice touch in the room.More

Four of us went for dinner and we all ordered a different dish. Each of us was delighted with our meal. The service was perfect and the waiter offered excellent suggestions when asked. We had salmon, prime roast beef, chicken pot pie and corned beef...and cabbage. All were terrific as were the vegetables.More

All the old Irish standbys--fish 'n chips, corned beef and cabbage, rashers and bangers--plus other options such as fish tacos. Pleasant surroundings. Okay service. Unexceptional food.

Love this place! The service is great and the food is wonderful. I like to sit in the pub and in the warm weather outside on the patio. The restaurant area is cozy and the staff is very friendly. I enjoyed the Corn beef and...cabbage and it melted in my mouth.More

We stopped at The Irish Inn after an afternoon of theatre at the Folger. It was packed! They found a table for us, though, and we were quickly served. The food and service were excellent. The servers and owner made us feel welcome and a...part of the group that obviously enjoys the Inn as a favorite gathering spot. We highly recommend it and will definitely go back.More

Came here for an anniversary dinner based on memories of good food and service in the past. food was good enough - Mediterranean platter, fish and chips, and beyond burger. However, at the price point ($18 for the beyond burger), service left a LOT to...be desired. It seemed a team approach to service - we had probably 6 different people come to us to ask for order or deliver things - and thus NO ONE really ensured we were taken care of. The Mediterranean platter was almost “dumped” into the middle of our table. Utensils and place nowhere to be seen - we had to waver someone down for those things. the bread never showed up at our table until after our main dishes arrived. Not once in 90 minutes did anyone check if we needed any water refills. We’ve been to pizza joints with better serviced than this. Come on Irish Inn - step up your service game.More

Coming out of DC on pretty parkways in Maryland. Looking for a nice place to eat came upon this pub. Greeted by the host, a fine Irish gentleman. Beautiful evening so we sat on outside patio. Not busy at 6 pm but got full very...quickly after that. High end menu of dinner items, lighter fair and specials. We had a Guinness, wine and ate light with fish tacos and shepherds pie. Excellent crème brulee for dessert. Food delivery was very fast. Waiter service got slow as the place got full. We enjoyed our visit.More

We were hungry but noticed the specials for happy hour and got some small plates and everything was fantastic...the best thing was their smoked salmon which was not too salty and sliced thin and if you like deviled eggs, get them. Fun place to be...as everyone is pretty friendly.More
