We live locally so know and buy from the owners of this restaurant as they are well known for the pork products based on their own pigs which they raise in the village. If you really enjoy good locally ingredients served at very reasonable prices, you will not go wrong here. It isn't fine dining, it is about the quality served simply with a glass of wine to wash it down and enjoy the day.
They do also offer a limited vegetarian menu as well

My small tour group (Hispania Tours) stopped here for a Sunday lunch. Two of us ordered their salads, which were fresh and just delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, and the place is obviously a local favorite, always a good sign. We sat indoors, but there were shaded outdoor tables as well.

An essential stop on our vacation route. Immense pleasure to eat at the ham loft. Everything is homemade of course. Burgers to die for, delicious warm goat cheese salad and truly succulent homemade desserts. Special mention for the cinnamon rice pudding and the magnificent rum baba. All served by a very friendly and professional chef without forgetting his delicate and attentive waitress. In summary I recommend this place 200%. Go there with your eyes closed. Excellent value
