We have always been faithful Caribou Coffee lovers and would drive to find one, but todays visit has definitely changed our minds. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and coffee (no one else was there) around 1pm on a Sunday. We ordered the Lumberjack (ham, cheddar cheese,...bacon on a hash brown bagel) and ham and Swiss. The sandwiches came quickly and were very hot to touch - too hot to pick up to eat, but when we bit into them the fillings were cool and not at all warm. As we thought about taking them back to be heated through, the couple who had come on behind us were having trouble getting their coffee order right and the woman working was arguing with them. They had ordered two small coffees with cream (she agreed to that) but when she had called out the order it was one small coffee with cream and it was cold. They told her it was cold and they had ordered two and she argued she put two out, but with only my husband and I and this couple in the place, there was no one else to take a second one - which none of us ever saw. She finally agreed to get two small coffees heated up with cream. We were still waiting on our coffees and decided to just eat the cold sandwiches. After the sandwiches were gone, our coffees came. The food could have been good if heated properly through and the coffee was fine. Trash cans were overfilled with garbage sitting on top and napkin dispensers were empty. Service was not good. I live 14 miles from this coffeeshop. It is a brand new store in a strip mall at a major intersection of Interstate 35/80 and Hickman Road. It is in front of a huge new 24 hour Anytime Fitness Center. Early in the morning there...are lots of men and women in exercise clothing coming in for coffee after their workouts. I like the bagels and cream cheese so much that I drive to this store at least twice a week. The company e-mails coupons to me for a $6 special on six bagels plus a tub of flavored cream cheese. I also get coupons for $2 for one bagel with a tub of smear. The coffee is Caribou Coffee which is a mild blend. All of the prices are reasonable. There is a free parking lot on the South side of the building. There are booths on the West side of the dining room and tables with chairs in the middle. There are soft chairs with a coffee table next to the fireplace. There is a 12 foot long wooden table with about 12 chairs in the East side facing a large two sided fireplace which is in the middle of the room. It is a beautiful coffeeshop.More
