Breakfast- reasonable priced - good service- food was served hot. Friendly - appears as at one time it may have been a Hollywood Diner.

Waitresses are friendly and efficient. He's got a good staff. Clean. Good food and good portions. Have a wide variety of food from breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Very slow service and very mediocre food. Keep searching for somewhere else. This place offers a promising menu but falls short of delivering flavorful or quality good. It was fairly in expensive.
We went here based on a recommendation from a local. We're glad we did. While the outside looks like a 50's diner, they don't try to do a hardcore reproduction on the inside, like to places in California I have visited. The food is good...hearty midwest diner fare. We had the "Cozy Mess" and French toast. The Cozy Mess in a combination of hash browns, sausage, bacon, green pepper with a couple of eggs on top, with a side of toast. I got the optional sausage gravy on top, which I highly recommend. The French toast was equally good. The place was busy, but the service was very friendly and attentive. About the only complaint is that the air conditioning was set a bit too cool, but there had been a large temperature change the evening before and it probably takes a while to adjust.More
My wife and I were visiting the area and we're looking for breakfast. I suggested Dunkin. She twisted my arm for Cozy Cafe. She is smarter than I am. Great food, world's best coffee, and great staff. We may go back this evening. It's that...good.More
First the cinnamon orange tea is great. The red and green Chile would make a great salsa for a New Mexican girl, but the flavors weren’t there for me. Had the biscuits and gravy. Was good. I don’t like sausage in my gravy, so it...was nice. The staff is friendly and the portions are big. Nice placeMore
Service is outstanding and the food is delicious! We have gone to this restaurant for the past 6 months, twice a week and have received outstanding service!
Great people, great service and good food. We've eaten breakfast and lunch and watched a couple of football games. They have a full bar too.
Pizza and Graziano sausage patty on a Helen and Pat's bun were incredible. Server was helpful, friendly and attentive. The cleaning and safety procedures were good too. Save room for pie or a cinnamon roll!
Delicious tasting food great service all around fun environment. You will love it. . I call it my cheers everyone knows my name.
Servers are awesome food is delicious. It is my Cheers because everybody knows my name. You are greeted and served by the owner Steve with a smile. Best all out place to eat in Des Moines.
had a burger and fries. The burger was delish. Can't remember the name of it, but it had onion rings and bacon on it. The fries were a little overdone but still good. Good service. Give it a try.
Comfort food. Large menu. Diner decor. Great staff, very friendly. I would definitely go back for breakfast. Large parking lot with easy access.
It is a nice place to relax and eat. The Sunday buffet was a good value and the food was good. Both I and my date were extremely happy with the food quality.
We were staying overnight in a nearby hotel and we ordered take out. The meals were ready in 15 minutes. The staff was very friendly and fast, the food was excellent. I had a BLT with side salad and my partner had a pulled pork...sandwich with fries, and we share chocolate cake for dessert. The food was hot and tasty, the cake was delicious.More
