The food, ambience, drinks and service were all excellent at the Cherry Circle Room resturant. The noise level is high though, so not the best place for dinner with conversation. The lighting is dim, but the waitstaff have mini flashlights available for use in reading...the menu if needed. The food preparations were truely creative. I loved the unexpected taste combinations. I highly recommend the steak tartare, the beet salad, and the burrata salad. All of these were exceptional.More

I ate here during a recent stay at CAA. It's a gorgeous space, with great food and excellent, attentive service. It's definitely a splurge, but you're paying for a trip back in time to a more elegant age. I'm sad they the are no longer...open for lunch, and are closed on Monday and Tuesday, but I'm hopeful normal hours will resume when it becomes safer to travel. Until then, enjoy the moment, the amazing space, and the wonderful food. Thank you, CAA!!More

This used to be my favorite place for a before concert meal. Maybe too much expectation after such a long time since last visit. Unfortunately that was a disappointing trip. The menu is nothing like before, just not the same level as we had expected....The waiter was fine, but the kitchen was very slow, took more than 1 hour to have some simple dishes out. Do not plan to go hack there again in near future.More

"Finishing" my review from last fall, 2019. Atmosphere was great. Love how everything looks so original, and it's a trip back in time. The service was back in time too since it was prompt, great and elegant. Food choices were just as good. Would have...gone again, but my spring of 2020 trips were cancelled.More

Visited the CCR during a short CHICAGO staycation and were pleasantly surprised by the great food, attentive service, and overall atmosphere. Table side bar cart was a fun add, and all staff was extremely knowledgeable about the food, ingredients, and beverage pairings. Extensive wine and...cocktail list. A great hidden gem inside a wonderful hotel.More

Attractive but dim, windowless space. Decent but basically overpriced hotel food. Attitudinal staff.

We dined for lunch yesterday at the Cherry Circle room at the Chicago Athletic Club. Great food and service experience. Beautiful, nostalgic that will have your eyes and palette intrigued. Would highly recommend The Circle Cherry Room for a special occasion lunch or brunch.

Went here for my husband's 40th birthday. Fantastic. From service to the food. Definitely worth the price. Best pumpernickel bread I've ever tasted. They even included a chocolate dipped icecream pop for the birthday.

This is a very nice place hidden away in the Chicago Athletic Club. I would highly recommend. The duck filet on Turnips greens was great! Helpful vote please!

Perfect from start to finish! From the Old Fashioned cocktail expertly made tableside, to the beef tartare (servers recommendation and it was spot-on,) to my 8oz filet topped with a giant hand battered onion ring, broccoli, garlic mashed potatoes, perfect Pinot Noir, and the excellent...service and atmosphere, you simply cannot go wrong with Cherry Circle Room!More

I have no idea. It's very supper club-y so it was meat centric. I would call and ask.
