Croissants were super dry - definitely looking a couple of days old. When we asked how old the croissants we were replied in a very stern way that they were from this morning- without even worrying or investigating why we were asking. You can’t pay...48 dollars for this quality of products. Ps you don t ask for tips at a bar. At the till. Without even serving people at the table.More

A block from Millennium Park by Chicago Cultural Center. Perfect spot to take a break and order a snack and one of their great beverages.

We strolled into Intelligentsia Coffee after an afternoon of exploring the city. I highly recommend the pour over (it's an experience in itself to watch the barista prepare) and the seasonal Avena Latte. So delicious and the service was outstanding!

Went here with my wife for a quick morning coffee hang out. We ended up getting 4 coffees. All were good. Staff was fast, attentive, etc. Giving 4 stars because we ordered a “Barrista’s choice” and ended up just getting a literal most basic cup...of black coffee. If coffeehouse was really busy we’d be more empathetic…. But no one else was in line. A little disappointed in that void of enthusiasm, creativity, and effort considering the price. It was the barristas choice to choose basic black coffee… and that’s fine… but then it’s also my choice to give only 4/5.More

Excellent coffee and pastries. We were in Chicago, on a HOT day, and it was just the refreshment we were looking for. Not much space to sit, but quality is excellent.

We were in Chicago for the weekend and I read the great reviews for this place so instead of going to the normal huge chain coffee shop, we decided to try this one. Really glad we tried it, the Cappuccino was awesome. They really took...the pandemic seriously, the staff were all masked and behind plastic sheeting. It was carry out only. I would recommend this place over the huge chain coffee shops. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.More

I'm a big beer geek and I've had a lot of beers that use Intelligista coffee. So I had to stop in while in Chicago. I had the Illuminate Blend which was brewed to order (so it took a little extra time, but it was...worth the wait) Great people making great coffee.More

Very close to the Cultural Center and Millennium Park, and I believe Intelligentsia is better than $tarbuck$. Nice variety of coffees, teas and snacks. Clean bathrooms and plenty of places to sit including a community table.

Having lived in Italy before it was rather difficult to find good coffee in Chicago. Intelligentsia coffee is as good as the coffee I am used to from Italy - simply delicious. If you are looking for good coffee - Intelligentsia is the place to...go!More

This place has a good menu of coffee drinks, as well as others like a chai latte. I found it somewhat expensive, but my friends were happy to buy bags of coffee to take home.
