We’ve eaten here on a few occasions and food varies from very good to average. The pizzas are very good, but I was a little disappointed with my cheese ploughman’s. The staff are always busy, so perhaps there should be a few more of them,...so that the service could be improved. It’s a nice setting, being so light and spacious, just needing a few tweaks.More

What an absolutely perfect spot for lunch! We had heard good things about Coppers and planned our walk in the beautiful surrounding countryside to end there. Two teenagers, one adult (and our dog) had a delicious lunch - Caesar salads, sandwiches, iced coffee and fantastic...cakes. Plus they had plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options. Really delightful setting with tables outdoors and a fountain (and tables indoors), and the staff were all so lovely.More

The Afternoon Tea is delicious, very substantial with plenty of sandwiches, cake, scones, cream and jam and of course, plenty of tea. We had a delightful table outside set with tablecloth, flowers and also cushions and throws on every chair. Will be returning often.

Unfortunately our experience of being here was poor, once we were seated and asked to check in via the NHS covid app (which we did) we waited and waited and waited. The waitress informed us once we were seated that someone would be be with...us in a couple of minutes to take our drinks order, well after 25 minutes of waiting we gave up and left, even the table next to us couldn't believe how long we'd been left. Through out our ordeal more and more customers were being seated, just hope they weren't made to wait like we were. I'm not sure if we had been forgotten or if they were just too busy? In which case perhaps they should have stopped seating more people or at least informing customers there would be a long delay.More

Went to coppers today for a late breakfast. Is a lovely setting and service was good. We had eggs benedict and royal, and an omelette. All delicious. Reasonable value. Definitely worth a visit.

Gently classy environment for breakfast with friends. Unhurried service and interesting, tasty food. A pleasure to be somewhere that has the confidence and purpose to be a little unusual. Not your standard garden centre cafe.

We were told about this gem of a place by friends. If you didnt know it was there you'd miss it.. I had the poached salmon which was delicious and my husband had the pork belly and he said it was one of the best...he had ever had. The desserts are lovely too Portions are perfect. We felt so safe and the staff are very conscientious and we booked our table. They clean down everything after use and the wooden spoon system causes a giggle. Tables are social distanced. The gluten free menu is excellent. We enjoyed it so much we booked for morning coffee with other friends for next day. Certainly recommend paying a visit here and enjoying the centre fireplace when it's cold. Thank you to all staffMore

Hi, I think it would be a good idea as they fill up quickly. It is a very popular place to eat and visit the garden centre.
