Over hyped from what I found

Many said that this was the go to Mexican restaurant, those reviewers apparently haven't had any good Mexican food in a restaurant. This place is run by a bunch of white chick's. No Mexicans that I saw any where. Salsa tasted like canned spaghetti sauce, with some extra ingredients. Not too good. Meal was OK, nothing spectacular. There are other choices nearby.

Authentic Latino Food ? I am from Arizon, Tucson - 45 minutes from the Border of Mexico - in no way is this Authentic Latino Food. Are there any other suggestions for Dublin GA ? Perhaps it IS authentic if you have NEVER had AUTHENTIC.

Hidden local gem!

We were traveling from Savannah to the mountains and decided to stop in Dublin for dinner. I looked up Mexican food and there are a few to choose from but this one had the local appeal we usually enjoy and seek out. It’s in a strip mall, about 4-5 miles from Interstate 16, but well worth the short drive. It’s a local place that’s small, probably about 10 tables, 2-3 more tables outside due to COVID restrictions. It’s very clean, service was great and fast. Great chips and salsa to start and their guacamole was super fresh and bright green! I had the daily special which was a quesadilla with grilled chicken, fresh spinach, tomatoes and cheese- it was wonderful! My friend had 3 tacos, al pastor and carnaesada on homemade corn tortillas- also spot on! We now have a regular spot to stop on our trips to the mountains. Super nice people working there and the locals eating were friendly as well.

Have eaten here before. Ample parking. Easy in and out. Very friendly staff. Food is prepared quickly and is served hot.

Best authentic Mexican Restaurant

The best food I’ve tasted in a long time. They seasoned it just right but they don’t give you a lot of food for the money that you pay. But that’s Dublin for you. The restaurant could have a better atmosphere those are my downside with them.

Coming from Arizona have eaten more than my share of Mexican food. This was the best in value and taste! The chips are definitely homemade and wonderful. The soup was full of chicken and vegetables and and and just as described. The fajitas were great too! My sister lives close and I can see why she and family love this place. Oh excellent service too!

This is an incredible place with excellent Mexican food and great service. It is a family operation and all, even the smallest ones, help out! The food tastes great and is reasonably priced. Definitely worth a stop in you're in the area!

Food is excellent; big portions; staff know how to take care of you!!! Honestly a authentic Mexican Restaurant. The owners are accommodating and if you get to know them they will cook true authentic Mexican food for you. The Menudo soup And lingua tacos are AWESOME!!!!

Hidden Secret

La Joya is at end if a strip shopping center, in the middle of Dublin. Proudly offering authentic Mexican food, is a hidden gem. I agree with the authentic claim, as there food is very similar to food I ate in Mexico. The restaurant is all business, not any Hispanic decor, just great food and service. And very reasonable prices. Great ice tea too.
