We chose Rico's as a fall-back for dinner because our first choice was terrible. We chose wisely (pardon the pun Indiana Jones fans). While the crab cake appetizer is on-par with most restaurants, the fried pork rinds with the vinegar dipping sauce are a knock-out....What a way to take something bland and turn it into something tasty. The wine list isn't deep, but they have some very good reasonably priced wines. I had the Braised Pork Osso Bucco over Andouille Sausage Drunken Beans and Smoked Gouda Grits - spectacular. As it was set down in front of me, the aroma of New Orleans style beans and rice activated my pallet. One of the best meals I have had in recent memory. Service was top-notch. It's a small place, so we had to wait about 30 minutes, but it was worth it.More

Love eating outside so we were very pleased we got seating; beautiful weather and breezy! We ordered the 2 chicken dishes; mine was grilled on a gluten free bun and my daughter's was the Cuban chicken which looked and tasted a lot like pork. We...both really enjoyed what we got. Our waiter was so knowledgeable, polite, and thorough that I asked him if he was part of the owner’s family. He was great. Beyond the service though, the food was excellent. Smoked chicken on the Cuban sandwich was amazing. As my wife noted, “something to...write home about.” The sweet potato chips were perfect side items. And......the key lime cake is “to die for”. Highly recommend driving out of your way to get here.More

Every time I go I find something new to love! The food tastes so original and "made with love" - you know it's not a chain. The cheese grits are like nothing I've ever tasted. I don't ordinarily like cheese in my grits but these...tasted like a delightful cheese ball with a smoky, delicious flavor! Unbelievable! And my server, Alex, was also the best!More

We adore Rico’s. During COVID we wanted to support our favorites. We ordered here a couple times to go and it was so good. Normal menu to specials, amazing!

We loved everything about this restaurant! Super friendly and efficient staff, wonderful food (ham/Brie sandwich and the chicken sandwich) both amazing! Pretty long wait so we opted to sit at the bar which had no wait. We had a great talk with Mama who makes...all the amazing desserts. We tried 4, eating some there and taking some. (Banana pudding, strawberry cake, banana pudding cake, Boston cream pie) all wonderful and so fresh!! We live 1 1/2 hours away but will make the drive again just for the experience!!More
