About
PLEASE CALL DIRECTLY FOR RESERVATIONS - We call it the “collective kitchen.” For the menus of 3800 Ocean are inspired not only by the local abundance of South Florida’s renowned crops that thrive under a hospitable climate, but by the regional flavors that stir the souls of our collaborative team of chefs. Each chef brings a new insight to the table: the comfort food favorites of New England; the fire and spice of Mexico; the Caribbean traditions of Jamaica; and the ageless classics of Long Island. Our own local abundance of fresh produce and seafood allows us to take the collective kitchen dining concept quite literally. Everything is made from scratch. Every taste evokes an emotional connection to a past culinary memory, or perhaps a future craving.

Located in The Marriot Hotel , 3800 Ocean Restaurant offers some great food choices while enjoying a view of ocean along Singer Island. The service was great and the food was really delicious food. There is both Indoor and outdoor seating available so, grab a table on the veranda. It can be a bit windy sometimes outside. The menu doesn't offer that many choices but there are some decent choices to pick from. The staff was very friendly. There is valet parking at the Hotel and is free when you validate the ticket with the restaurant. We had the shrimp cocktail and the Caesar salad Chicken Wrap which were both awesome.

This is an incredible luxury restaurant that has truly great food makes sure all of your needs are met (above and beyond). Appetizers were excellent. Shrimp Bruschetta was uniquely excellent. Blue Crab Cakes with Old Bay spice were authentic Maryland crab cakes! I’m from Maryland and these were the Best I’ve had! Yellowtail Snapper was GREAT! Excellent flavor with incredible sides. The Grilled Beef Tenderloin was very tender and excellently seasoned with a perfect Au jus sauce. To celebrate our engagement they gave us three desserts that were absolutely delicious! Our waitress Devin totally spoiled us and took some great photos of us to save the memory forever. This is my third visit to 3800 Ocean and they are a restaurant you should definitely visit.

My Wife and I always plan to eat at this restaurant when we are vacationing in Singer Island. This time, our vacation was enhanced by only having to walk to this restaurant as we were guests at this beautiful resort for the holiday weekend. Our Family consisted of seven folks and at one time, nine folks. We dined at 3800 Ocean on four occasions - Breakfast twice; and Dinner twice. We all enjoyed the food, the service, location, and ambiance of this restaurant. Our servers, Karina and Roberto (Breakfast), and two young ladies for Dinner were all very special. We knew Karina for many years during our prior dining experiences; and it was a pleasure to meet and be served by Roberto; and other members of the team.

WORST dining experience ever. Would never recommend to anyone. We had reservations and had a long wait. Took a long time for anyone to recognize we were there. All the staff were overwhelmed. Food came out cold and took way too long. The steak was the worst cut of meat I have ever had. Couldn’t cut into it hardly. $115 fixed menu and then they felt they needed to include a 20% gratuity for a party or 2. Extremely disappointing.

Since we wanted to have dinner at a special venue to celebrate a significant birthday, we chose this spacious dining venue at the Marriott Hotel facility. Recognizing that hotel dining rooms are sometimes focused on commodity food, we felt that this upscale facility would not disappoint us. We were promptly seated at the table we requested, and we were welcomed in a friendly manner. Our server, while efficient, seemed to have too many tables to cover in order to provide efficient service. We chose the three course menu, with one of us having the New York steak and the rest of us having the snapper. While the steak was good, the snapper and the accompanying sides were vastly overcooked to the point that it appeared that they had been pre-cooked and then heeded because they arrived almost cold. The desert offerings were excellent which helped to offset our disappointment with the main courses. As an aside, we did not see any indication that we would be automatically charged a 20% service charge until the bill arrived. For the price of the meal, we expected more.

We recently returned from a 10 night stay at the Palm Beach Marriott Singer Island. During our stay we ate at this restaurant twice for dinner and twice for breakfast. During breakfast they offer a pretty nice breakfast buffet as well as a pretty comprehensive full breakfast menu. As with any high-end hotel, this is not a place to go if you're looking for a discount Denny's style cheap breakfast. The prices are quite high but the food is good. The dinner menu is quite smaller with several options for both appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. My wife and I ate here twice for dinner and both times everything we ordered was beyond delicious. Again this is not a place to come if you're looking for an inexpensive dinner but between the beautiful views of the ocean and the absolute top notch food it's well worth the price for admission. I only wish I had eaten here sooner during our stay and could have tried a few more things on the menu.

We had looked at this place a year ago. We’re expected to be seated in a nice glass restaurant overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. However, when we got there, we found out that there were undergoing renovations and they ended up sitting us in a small table in the middle of the Check lobby.when we finally got a waitress to order drinks and an appetizer, we waited over 40 minutes. Denver saw her again. And noticed that all the other tables around us were also complaining of lack of service and not getting their food. So we ended up just leaving.

The food here is absolutely delicious, service polished and the setting is gorgeous. We came here for several breakfast which were very good and once for dinner. All the mains we ordered were excellent (4 adults 2 kids). The s’mores dessert was to die for. The kids menu had high quality food for a very low price. If you look at other restaurants in the area the price is only marginally more for similar fare but the quality is very high. The only caveat is the menu is rather limited (5 or 6 mains) so you can’t come too often. I don’t know if the same restaurant produces the poolside food during the day but same comment - excellent food (I had the grilled mahi sandwich and it was way better than I would expect for poolside) but a rather limited menu. I recommend the food here.

Our actual dining experience wasn’t ideal due to our waiter not being attentive at all. We only saw him when we ordered food/drinks and at the end of the meal. BUT the 3800 Ocean manager and other staff members were incredible! They were thoughtful enough to send up to our room desserts and even a stuffed animal for our daughter since we were there celebrating her anticipated arrival this upcoming August. Thank you for turning our night around and for making us, and our unborn daughter, feel so taken care of.

A very mediocre restaurant at the Marriott Singer Island. The menu is pretty limited, especially for vegetarians and those on a gluten free diet. The service was so so so slow, but friendly enough, and most of our orders came out wrong! The food itself was fairly bland and meh. Expensive meal for such a lacklustre evening. Ps the acoustics in the restaurant are awful - we mostly sat in silence as no one could hear even our immediate neighbor! I don’t recommend, sadly.

Wonderful food but service very spotty. Tuna tartar, roasted Brussel sprouts, grouper, lobster pot pie all great. Got there at 5:30 with 6 adults and 3 kids. After a half hour ordered drinks not on the table and no food order taken despite only 4 tables seated and 3 servers at that point. Complained and marginal improvement. 2.5 hours to get appetizer and entrees, with mandatory 20% tip. Everyone was friendly. Seems to be a lack of management.

What a beautiful way to start spring! Had one of the best culinary beachfront adventures in Florida with my mother at 3800 Ocean. Thanks to the entire F&B team! We were greeted with unparalleled hospitality from the moment we arrived! From Champagne to bar bites (conch fritters and meatballs highly recommended) to dinner (started with the lobster bisque, fresh grouper, and mom had crab cakes and the short rib)...everything was delicious! Huge shoutout goes to Sebastiaan with his tag team leaders and wonderful colleagues: Harvinder (thank you so much for everything), mixologist extraordinaire Zubear with his signature Singer Island martinis (YUM), John, Ronald, Chris, Chef Jeffrey, Chef Larry, Chef Gio, and a sweet thanks to pastry Chef Kursten —this "I'm not a dessert person" quickly converted because of that Banana Cheesecake, which tastes way better than its name...was so light and those mini vanilla wafers were simply divine. Thanks to our waitresses Kelly and Lauren for their delicious suggestions. Our hostess with the mostest Tracy for her warm hospitality. And, Nancy at the Sispa at the Palm Beach Singer Island Resort & Spa Marriot for giving mom a tour right before closing :) I had the pleasure of spending my birthday there last December but we will make it a mom and daughter spa day soon! Thank you guys again! We highly recommend this place and we’ll be back again very soon!

We went in last week for dinner, although they had a limited menu due to everything going in with COVID19 , there were still great options, I ordered the scallops and my husband the stuffed grouper. Delish ! It was prepared so wonderfully, tasted delicious and had some serious presentation. The wine was fabulous as well as the view from our table. Our server was professional and educational on what the best items on menu suggested and the dessert was to die for. We will be back again

We made a reservation through open table. The restaurant has a beautiful location facing the beach. We opted to dine al fresco. The menu was very limited..about six appetizers and five or six entrees and about three desserts. My husband and I shared an arugula salad with dried cherries and a balsamic vinaigrette. It was quite good. I selected the blackened grouper with a mango crab salsa and coconut rice which I enoyed. My husband ordered the lobster pot pie which was very bland. Both entrees were about $40 each. Our server was quite attentive.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Chef Ronald introduced himself and explained what he had been preparing for us all day. Before arriving we shared what we liked and what we didn’t like and he took that all into account. The best tuna tartare I ever ate, street corn with scallops roasted with bacon, surf and turf cooked to perfection, followed by a decadent dessert. It was so nice knowing he had prepared it just for us and the flavors were amazing. Fortunately we live close enough we will be going back. Do not make the mistake of taking the ocean view table, stay at the chef’ s table with Ronald!
