My daughter and I have been here many times for breakfast with friends and family or just the two of us. In many visits up until a few months ago, it was wonderful and featured a menu with several pages and many options for breakfast....Now my daughter and I visit today and the entire menu (not just the breakfast menu) is a small, two-sided card. The breakfast options are extremely limited with the majority of the choices being some variety of Eggs Benedict or waffles/French toast. Very limited egg selections otherwise and no omelets. When we asked our server if items from the previous menu were still available, we were told that they were not. To get a breakfast similar to what she used to be able to order, my daughter had to order two complete different breakfast entrees and piece together what she wanted. The server said that this was the "only way" to get what she wanted. I was able to find something that sounded tasty and we placed our orders. When our meals arrived, my daughter enjoyed her Swedish Pancakes even though she did not receive the Strawberries that she ordered with them. Her scrambled eggs and bacon were average and she indicated that her eggs were very bland, despite the 5-6 pieces of shredded cheddar that we paid an additional $1.00 for (unreal). I had ordered a Veggie Scrambler and my food was quite average as well. No flavor with my eggs or hash browns. In the past, the hash browns here were delicious. Today mine today were very pasty with no hint of seasoning whatsoever. They were as exciting as a potato boiled in water and then eaten. Bland! The tastiest part of the egg portion of my meal were the diced tomatoes on the top. The biscuit was nowhere near what they used to be like. Today it was on the level of a frozen Pillsbury buttermilk biscuit bought at the grocery store in the freezer section and warmed up in a microwave oven. When I asked for Strawberry Jam to give it some character, I received a large squeeze bottle of strawberry jam that one would have in their own refrigerator at home. Not the presentation that Sweet Sage once featured. I have out of town guests coming to town soon and was looking forward to bringing them here for a unique breakfast experience. Those plans have certainly been changed. What was once a go to spot for me is now off of the list. I will not return as there are many other similarly priced and tastier options in this area. I can get a very limited menu with bland food at many other places. I question the changes that have been made here with the menu and the options available. Regrettable decision by ownership!More

The bus boy emptys used water glasses into the water carafe on the table when clearing. Brought to the attention of the owner and he confirmed that is what they do because they don’t have a way to empty them otherwise. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!...I then witnessed the now full carafe taken to the waiter station to be taken to a newly sat table. The owner said they wash them when they get back to the kitchen, but what I saw did not get back to the kitchen and this is disgusting in any event. Seriously who does this?? And then defends it as normal procedure?! Never going back.More

Charming place. Very busy on weekends. Parking is very limited but street parking is available. Wait for table was not long but there were just 2 of us. Very dog friendly. They even get their own menu. Service was great. Food was very good. I...had the portabella sandwich sans the bread. Cooked well and tasty. Nice salad with it with amazing raspberry dressing. My husband had the potatoe skins eggs Benedict. He really liked it. Atmosphere is charming and fun. We ate in the garden. Prices are fair. The tangerine juice is supposed to be wonderful so nect time we will have a mimosa. Definitely worth a visit.More

We were greeted at the door by a very friendly lady who showed us to her garden area. You could tell she was proud of it and we enjoyed looking at all the garden decorations. We were worried about mosquitoes or other bugs sitting outside...but had absolutely no issues with them. The food was amazing with quite large portions. Definitely stop by the bathroom which while small definitely has a lot to keep you entertained!!!More

Sweet sage is such an incredibly unique and wonderful place to grab a bite to eat. The environment is so beachy and quirky and both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are so fun and give you so much to look at and enjoy before...you eat. Somehow the food is even BETTER than the cafe itself, and the specialty drinks(my favorites are the mocachino cooler and the pina colada) are to die for, so flavorful! The menu has so many options with amazing taste, and this place serves some of the best quiche and benedicts I have ever had(and at such an affordable price). If you stay anywhere near Redington Beach you HAVE to go here, it's definitely one of my favorites.More
