Was here during super bowl weekend and the food was great!!! Only complaint was the parking. There was no where to park. There was an open, empty field next to Sundays but we could not park there. There is a business next door and we could not park in their spaces either. Had to ride around for 15 minutes to find a park on the sidewalk. Be careful where you park because there are trespassing and tow signs everywhere. Ordering the food was quick, had to wait ~20 min for the food. Not much space on the inside to sit and eat because it was crowded. Primarily an order and go place...order your food and go home to eat it. I had the baked chicken, Mac and cheese, collard greens, corn bread, large lemonade in the shade (blue drink), and banana pudding. Everything tasted great and I will go back again!!

I was in Fort Lauderdale for a few days and didn't want to go back home to Michigan without visiting Sunday Eats I stopped there before heading to the airport I was disappointed from the start because we had to stand outside and order our food their was a person standing outside the restaurant taking orders. I ordered the catfish meal you get two side but one of them have to be rice didn't like that because who eat rice with catfish well I don't and the rice wasn't good too me at all. I got greens for my other side and order two extra sides Mac n cheese and yams. I just knew my catfish was about to be on point but it wasn't it was ok the sides was great well everything but the rice yams was good greens was delicious Mac n cheese was everything.

The food was delicious im not going to lie and it was worth the wait. But I will say that they should review they operate from a customer experience point of view. My wife and I went there due to a layover we had in Miami. We went there and after waiting in line for 30 min to order ( Again not a big deal) we had to wait an additional hour to get our food. The wait wasn’t the problem. The issue was after the order was placed and food was payed you had to keep checking every 15-30 min to see when your food was ready. There was no intercom system to call out your number nor was there a system to notify you when to pick your food up. My wife and I order was placed 12:05 we didn’t get our food until 1:30. The last thing I will say that was distasteful was there is a 40$ service charge to sit in and eat. (I don’t mind paying a fee but at the end of the day that’s a carry out spot all styrofoam and plastic utensils) Bottom Line Food was Amazing, Try the fried ribs,Catfish and Greens you won’t be disappointed.

Food was so delicious. Yes, there was a wait but it was steady moving. Came all the way from NY and the food did not disappoint. The only complaints I did have was my peas and rice only had one pea lol. Also the blue “lemonade” was overly sweetened blue kool aid with possibly a splash of lemon juice. I guess it’s a southern thing to have drinks that sweet. I’m in Miami for week and I’ll definitely be back before I leave to try the fried ribs.

Where do I start first after stepping off the plane my first place to visit was Trick Daddy’s restaurant I didn’t kno the name all I knew is I was gonna find out where it was. I arrived there had an experience that I’ve never encountered was ordering food from the curb but it wasn’t bad I met another traveler then after about 45min I received my food the young ladies taking an giving me my order was very nice. After I getting my food I just had to send pictures of it back to Memphis to my colleagues now the big part of it was getting back to the hotel an diggin in man ole man was this food the best dam soul food I’ve ever had. What negative reviews had been given on this restaurant couldn’t be true or they have no clue on good food I order 2 places I even ate one the next day room temperature an still the best even when cold so I say bravo to the staff the cook even the owner for hiring the best… I just wish Trick had it where you could get his menu flown across the states FedX overnight lol I will be returning an I’ve told an put this “ Establishment” on the map Great job an thanks for the best 10yr wedding anniversary food experience in Miami

This place needs no introduction this place is on by none other then trick daddy the Miami rapper. I’m a big fan that’s the main reason why I came to this place and to try out his food. The locations right off the main road there is parking but when it gets busy it might be a little hard to park. It’s very clean inside you can eat in and you can also have takeout, I did way in a little line but considering it went pretty quick and I didn’t have to wait too long for the food either. The menu selection is pretty good but you mentioned the food is excellent. Sometimes you can even catch trick outback cooking or catch some other famous people going there to eat. This place is definitely worth the trip

Being a fan of Trick Daddy I wanted to try out his restaurant while I was in Miami. I'm so glad I did. The fried cornish hen was delicious. The fried ribs with the in the shade lemonade was awesome. Also make sure you get the blue velvet cupcake you'll thank me later

I love, love, love the food at this restaurant! It's like someone's grandmother is in the kitchen whipping up the most delicious soul food. My favorite dishes have been the baked turkey wings dinner, fried catfish and banana pudding dessert. Recently I tried the fried Cornish hen meal and was disappointed that not only did I not receive my cornbread muffin, but the meat itself although flavorful was dry. Therefore I removed a star. But I hope they correct this as I'll definitely be back!

My daughter and I visited Miami from Toledo, Ohio and noticed that our hotel was 20min away from Trick Daddy's restaurant so we decided to give it a try. Very worth the drive. Even tho the restaurant wasn't open to eat in due to Covid we still were very happy with the food and service. The young ladies that took our order were very nice & polite. We spent almost $50.00 but we knew that we would probably never go again unless we go back to Miami. Thanks to Trick Daddy the food was PERFECT. Davona Sanders & Ojunae' Gainey

I gave this place 3 STARS because the food is good. The plates are very healthy. There is no problem with the food here what so ever!!!! The problems are this… 1- order online a head if time. Because the wait to get your food from my experience is minimum 25 mins to an hour! They gots ta do betta! 2- For know we are all tryna save the planet but gotdammit why they can use plastic containers for my side order of collard greens? Damn juice spills out of the styrofoam containers. Do you know how difficult it is to get collard green smell out when it spills??? SMFH 3- lastly they need help that pays attention. I asked for hot sauce in my bag. Little girl said that everything is in the bag. I said you sure? She said yes. I leave and get home (which was my fault for not checking) and there was nothing etra inside my damn bag except the collard green juice that spilled all over! Thanx SHAWTY! FOH

Have some patients. Have tried the Fried Ribs(YUMMI) and Catfish(YUMTOO)which were both well prepared along with sides of Collard Greens, Yams, Yellow Rice and Mac & Chz. Well worth the wait. If you're in a hurry there are many available Fast Food options, but if you want good Soul Food, Sundays Eatery is an excellent choice. I've worked in the Food Industry all over the country, in many atmostpheres and Sundays Eatery ROCKS. I will and need to go back for the Snapper, Game Hen....

Believe the hype!!! The food was everything! I ordered a tbone steak, greens, macaroni And seafood rice. I must say, everything was delicious and the price was reasonable. ($15) I recommend you call in advance and order your food. I did so because the line is always wrapped around the building and I see why. When I arrived my food was ready. The lobby is temporarily closed due to COVID which is understandable but that didn’t take away from the food. The cashiers were all wearing masks and gloves. They let me in to use the restroom and the lobby was immaculate. Oh and the blueberry lemonade is a must too! I will definitely be returning. I drove 4 hours just to eat here and don’t regret it! Trick is a beast in the kitchen!!

We visited Miami for Valentines and stopped in before leaving. There was a long line because of Covid but we didn't have a long wait. We were able to see Trick Daddy when he stopped by. I ordered the fried cornish hen. It would have been great if lemon pepper seasoning hadn't been sprinkled all over it. It did not say that on the menu. Also, the green beans were horrible. Beans were poured straight from the can. The collard greens were delicious. There was enough food on the plate to feed 2 people. The visit was definitely worth it though. Sincerely, Louisiana Girl

"Fried" cornish hen was soggy. Ordered and PAID $3.00 for shrimp and rice. I was given yellow rice. Ordered green beans and was given collard greens. Nobody from the restaurant phoned to explain that they were out of certain items, or asked for my replacements. I called the restaurant and asked for a manager in an attempt to allow the resolve the matter before giving a poor review. The young lady who answered the phone refused to get a manager, saying that they were trying to close. The lack of professionalism and attention to customer care makes it difficult to support a business like this.
