I fell in love with this place and the owner. Multiple days I saw her unloading fresh meats and veggies before they opened. She has everything for customized lattes from almond milk, sugar free flavors, etc. she also serves breakfast and lunch all day. It was absolutely delicious and I would’ve eaten there everyday if I could have! I always ordered the espresso latte with almond milk and sugar free cinnamon and mocha, my husband ordered the Cuban mix sandwich (that I ate most of). I don’t think you can go wrong with any of her choices! She was also the loveliest of ladies and made you feel right at home!

This tiny restaurant has an extensive pan Latin menu where each dish is made with love and care. Open for breakfast and lunch and offering breakfast sandwiches, rice and pasta bowls, and of course Cuban staples. Well worth a visit and the coffee is the best on the island. Check it out!

One of the best, most flavorful meals I had in Key West (i feel like some of the Key West restaurants try to skate by on location and atmosphere as opposed to food). I got an ropa vieja arepa with an amazing chimichurri sauce and a guava/cheese empanada and both were DELICIOUS. I also had a cuban coffee with milk which was strong and tasty. The burrito next to me looked so good also. The cuban sandwich was so good. The customer service definitely was not good. The person taking orders and working the cash register seemed grumpy and unhappy. She was not pleasant. The food did take some time but it was super busy at lunchtime (11:30 am on a Thursday). Even with service, the food made up for it.

Stopped in to this little shop to get take out for lunch (empanadas) and liked it so much we went back for breakfast and coffee the next day. Wonderful service and great food at VERY reasonable prices. Homemade chorizo breakfast burritos and cappuccino with almond milk were fantastic...come hungry, portions are large!

These ladies put out fantastic food from their small kitchen. We ate empanadas, sandwiches & the best home made key lime pie, and it was all full flavored and delicious. It is a small very casual place where you order at the register and pull up a stool at a counter. The service is cheerful and welcoming. After our first time, we had to come back.

This is a small coffee shop that serves cuban food. It is in a growing phase as Carolina the owner is in the process of opening up a larger serving and eating area. This young lady is so excited about her new venture and chatted with us while we enjoyed two wonderful coffees, a capachino and a mochachino both delicious. We are looking forward to heading back in a few months to order food and enjoy her new addition. Please stop by a support this new business.

Love this little place. My go to is the home-made chorizo breakfast burrito. Yum! The burritos are huge but if you can find room after eating one, try the guava & cheese empanada. Friendliest service on the island. Don't miss out on this gem! ♡

Hands down! Don't miss place. It's a tiny hole in the wall and you'll likely stand in line but worth the wait! Have a cuban cafesito and whatever you want. The aroma's coming from this tiny little restaurant will keep you motivated while you wait in line. Here's what we had for breakfast. For the egg burrito, we went with rice, bean and pork!

The mojo pork bowl was amazing. A ton of food and some of the best pulled pork I’ve ever had in my life (I grew up in the South). The combo of salsa, avocado, meat, rice, beans, and fresh lettuce was delicious! My 1-year old loved the pork too! The service was phenomenal too. It is one of those places where you feel like family when you walk in and it’s just comfortable. We will definitely eat here again when we come back.

We stayed above this place for four days. My husband got coffee there each morning and proclaimed it the best Cuban coffee on the island. We ordered lunch and it was delicious as well. We had quesadillas, pork bowls, and grilled grouper. It was all excellent and the price was very reasonable. The staff is friendly and helpful. My father said it reminded him of his time in Cuba. Highly recommend for lunch or breakfast.

Great Empanadas full of flavor and very fresh and tried the potato fritter, something new. It was just a little warm for us to have a coffee. There are about 10 places to sit but everything can be made to go. The staff was very friendly.

This place was down the street from where we were staying and we couldn't be happier to have it as a go-to for coffee and sandwiches! The ladies behind the counter were SO friendly and warm, it honestly made us so happy every time we stopped in. The Cuban mix sandwich was delicious and so were the Cuban coffees. We didn't try everything (they have a very extensive menu!) BUT everything that came out of the kitchen looked beautiful we were sorry we didn't have more time to try more dishes. Heading to the beach of the pool? Make sure to stop by for a sandwich to go.

We came here to get a quick dinner. Quick was not the waiting time, and the food was more expensive than expected. The portion was okay, but the tacos were too soft and full of meal. They could be a little bit cheaper for less meal, that would makes it more possible to eat the tacos. Last but not least, the sauce was spoiled and we were not offered a new one. Probably they had no more unspoiled ones … don’t need it again.

The food and coffee at this place are very good. Really enjoyed them and even had small children who ate voraciously. The reception upon entry to the restaurant is less than hospitable. Service is slow. The woman who I assume is the Owner, eventually came around to speak to us and blow some smoke, but she already lost her sparkle for me when I saw how pretentious it was. We asked about where to speak as tables were small, were given no options and they acted as if we were bothering them even though there was only one other couple in the place who they focused all their attention on. Hopefully this owner can remedy the service issue because the food is good. Not saying I would not go back, but I would also consider other options.

Best Cuban sandwich I have ever had, hands down! The pork was tender, the bread was fresh, and the pickles themselves were flavorful and perfect mix of garlic and salt. The vibe of the place is that of a fun and very cool Cuban diner, with everyone welcome, delicious smells, everything clean and nice... Then, let me say that these folks were some of the kindest and friendliest people I've met in Key West. They met me at the door, brought a tall cool glass of water (it was a HOT day!), and were so much fun to talk to. ON TOP OF THAT, the food was amazing. My friend got an entree with fish, beans and rice, and plantains... and said it was the best Cuban food on the island. I did also get Cuban coffee (the namesake of the place) and it was perfect! I hope to go there many more times! I even got the T-shirt (which I never do). THANKS for a lovely memory! I'll be back!
