And even better service. One night stop over in Massat - and were luck enough to find this place! Great ambience, amazing service and the food is unbelievable! The set menu is to die for - and worth every cent. Good wine selection, goes well with the food. It was a graat evening sitting outside with great company. If you are in the general area - this place is worth the travel! Highly recommended!

We have eaten quite a few times at this restaurant and have always had an excellent meal. The portions tend to be on the large side but beautifully cooked and presented. The hotel offers a number of different priced menus as well as a al carte and a range of fish as well as meat dishes. There's a very good selection of dishes available and in the summer evenings it really delightful to sit outside on the balcony and enjoy the evening air whilst having a lovely meal. Stéphane and Magali who now run the hotel do an excellent job and are very helpful when contacted. There's ample parking available as well as accommodation. Our friends who stayed in the hotel thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the garden with an ample supply of wine.

After the market in Saint Girons we were feeling hungry on the road to Foix. Passed two towns where the local auberge was shut when we arrived in Massat where we were able to stop for lunch. Great choice of food are service was very good. Food was delicious and serves generous. Great to sit out on the balcony to eat in the fine weather. Recommended.

On our way from Andorra to Biarritz by car and we got tired. Luckily, it happened right next door to this wonderful establishment. Stayed overnight. Lovely, friendly welcome. Huge and comfortable, bright, airy room (#17) for just 62€. Great evening meal on a nice terrace and with friendly service. WARNING! Any main meal is enough for two.
Loved the place and recommend it to anyone, from anywhere, who is traveling through the town of Massat in the Pyrenees area.

Friendly welcome. Rustic and comfortable setting.
We chose chicken with morel sauce or sweetbreads from the menu.
The dishes are simple but good and very hearty accompanied by a large dish of homemade fried potatoes.
For dessert, a nice portion of croustade and a scoop of vanilla.
With a red wine in an IGP carafe a reasonable addition of €30 per guest.
