We (2 adults & 13 yo) were in town for the DIRTcar Nationals at nearby Volusia Speedway, drove here for Sunday lunch. When we checked in at 10:30, we were told it was a 2 to 2.5 hour wait, no problem! We knew we’d be...waiting. We walked around, enjoyed the visitors center, nature and learning about the park while we waited and relaxing on the benches. Actual wait was only 1:45. We sat on the back porch, was a comfy table (it easily moves if needed) with benches along the walls. Marilyn was our server, very attentive and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the all you can eat pancakes, eggs and various breakfast meats. The ham was the best. Hot chocolate was yummy! Food was delicious, service superb, fun experience, fair pricing - gratuity is included on your bill. Highly recommend!More

This is a must experience if you are ever in the area. It is not only fun but OH was it good. We might just drive the 2 hours from where we live to go there again.

The restaurant is inside the Deleon Springs park (wonderful natural springs park!). Tables have griddles built in to make your own pancakes. If you enjoy pancakes, this is a great experience. It sounds simple but it was soooo much fun!!! I highly recommend a visit....The service is also excellent! And after all you can eat pancakes you can swim in the spring:) Great Time!!More

We decided to eat here after seeing on the Food Network. Making our own pancakes was so much fun. We also got to choose our add ins. I had the whole wheat batter and it was delicious. We will definitely come back.

The restaurant is right on the lake. Great view. And I enjoyed grilling my Tuna melt on the griddle in the middle of the table. A unique experience, And the service was great!

I was looking forward to our visit, but I really felt it didn't live up to the reviews. I'm not negative Nancy but I plan trips and visits off reviews so I want people to have an honest review. There is no AC or heat...so be prepared. The wait is long but you can ride the boat without losing your spot, which is a good thing. The prices were not great since it only includes the pancakes and everything else costs extra. We ask for chocolate chips and never got those, but there are fans blowing and everyone is wearing masks so they probably didn't hear us. They didn't charge us for them so I didn't ever ask again. It is a great experience but my daughter basically wouldn't eat anything but the bacon since there is no way to get that same taste we get at home. The pancakes were bland, but I'm used to adding vanilla extra to my homemade pancakes, and I didn't like the wheat mixture. You will also be charged 18% gratuity regardless of party size. I typically wouldn't have a problem with this but the waitress here doesn't have to work as hard since you make your own breakfast so I feel that's a little pricy for this particular restaurant. The experience was neat for a one time visit, but it's not somewhere I would eat again.More

Our Family of three adults and two children had a fun time cooking our own delicious pancakes. Both pancake batters were very good and the children really enjoyed picking their own toppings and flipping their own pancakes. Service was very helpful and friendly. This was...our second visit and we looking forward to going back again very soon.More

Pancake/Griddle House I've been visiting at De Leon Springs since I was a little kid. Located in the old sugar mill. I haven't been in years but went with my family recently and was very happy to see they have vegan, gluten-free pancakes! I wasnt...sure if I'd like them but they were actually awesome (I prefer it over the non-vegan batter I used to have here back in the day!). So many amazing toppings you can get with them-- blueberries, bananas, pecans and more + maple syrup. I definitely recommend coming here, putting your name on the waiting list, going for a 1 hour swim, and then coming back to enjoy your vegan pancakes! :) Yes, you cook them yourself at the table but that's part of the experience. Please encourage them to carry vegan sausage (right now they only have vegetarian sausage). They also have a garden burger a PB&J, but I highly recommend the pancakes!More

This was a great breakfast. You can order meat and eggs too, but you are cooking everything except the meat at your table on the grill that is the middle part of your table. Once you order, they’ll bring you a pitcher of the type...of pancake the table ordered and any meats and the eggs, which you break and cook on the griddle to your way of liking. All syrups including molasses are on the table. This will fill you up and get you ready for a day of hiking in the park or swimming the cool waters. Tip: put your name on the list and take a nature boat tour and when you arrive back, you’ll be on the front of the list.More

No a/c or heat, sit at grill side and cook your own pancakes, eggs, etc from batter that you are brought. Pancakes were good but not exceptional. Definitely an experience. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. No real maple syrup though! At least they sell...it by the bottle in the attached store. How can you eat pancakes without maple syrup? Obviously we bought a bottle. Also, good for them for charging a service fee. That is the amount that we should be all paying for the service we get at restaurants to overcome the low pay that wait staff and other restaurant workers get.More
