We went for lunch and had a great spot on the patio. We had 2 of the crepe dishes which were excellent and enjoyed a flight of the 7 Hermits beer w/o going to Eagle. They also have a full bar, so mimosas, wine and...mixed drinks also available. Very friendly bartender/server. Regret we didn't make it back to try more of the crepes.More
Looking for a delicious crepe but it was hard and dry. They ran out of eggs?! How can a crepe restaurant run out of eggs? The menu in the restaurant was nothing like the Website. They didn't offer smoothies or any of the other drink...selections. We won't be going back..More
They were so accommodating, I wanted a Grand Marnier crepe and they did not have the liquor. The waiter said if we brought him a bottle, he would make it. We went and purchased it and he only charged us for a basic crepe price....The crepe and the service were wonderfulMore
Crespelle is a small place in the village in Vail serving beer and sweet and savory crepes, including egg-filled options for breakfast, plus coffees and cold pressed juices from Colorado. Though you can roll your own, and all the sweet crepes on their menu are...vegetarian, the only vegetarian option they advertise is the “Rabbit Food” which gives you the sense they’re not necessarily into the vegetarian sensibility. I did roll my own and had a Yard Sale crepe (a.k.a. a build my own) with gruyere and a kale and spinach mix. It tasted great though it was a little light on the kale and spinach. There’s a nice selection of “Pressery” juices (made in Colorado). I had the Green Zinger juice which also was great. They serve nice looking drinks at the bar (though I was there mid-day which is not prime-drinking time for me). There’s not so much space to sit inside (and they had the chairs upside down on top of the inside tables so it looked like they didn’t want you sitting in there.) but there’s a nice patio outside which was lovely to sit in in the middle of July. (I’m not sure how my wimpy California sensibility would feel about sitting outside in the heart of winter’s ski season. Crespelle is good for a quick and tasty bite, and probably for your day-drinking needs as well. The crepes were legit.More
Each crepe is made to order with anything from Nutella, to berries, to green chili in it. Often crowded but well worth the wait! The crepes are made of buckwheat flour and are gluten free.
This was a cute little restaurant with a variety of sweet and savory crepes. The food was excellent, however the restaurant itself looked to be under a remodel and was quiet dirty.
Second time at Crespelle, which is a 100 percent gluten free spot! Great location near base of mountain in Vail Village. Interesting types of fillings (chorizo sausage, green chili and other flavors) Also a variety of green juices -
Tried the savory and dessert style crepes and all were. Everyone had their favorites but no one at our table disliked any of them. I did wish they had fewer Nutella options but I suppose it is on trend. Spendy, but nice for something light...and different.More
Exceptional crepes! Love the options for sweet or savory! We have visited every trip to Vail (usually once in summer & once in winter.). Great fast breakfast!
The menu said all crepes are gluten free, which was honestly a little hard to believe when we received our food. Far better than other GF pancake-type food I’ve had. We enjoyed our meals. This is a fun alternative to a traditional breakfast!
