We have ordered take out sandwiches from here several times, and they are always great and very fast. They are in the heart of the village and do great business. It's probably one of the best sandwich spots.

Bad customer service, the employees have a lot of actitud. They need training on how to kindly speak to clients. The employees are arrogant and treat you like you don’t have other choices. Food is worst than fast food. Free advice to save your day:...go to the big bear bistro and you will thanks me.More
The sandwiches were good and Large. The ice cream was Yummy! Its downstairs off the street so you have to look for it. It's a small place. There is little seating inside. We like it!
There was a line out the door and most tables were filled. Since many customers only purchased desserts, one suggestion would be to have a pay point after the ice cream/gelato so that customers don't have to wait through the entire line and behind customers...purchasing from the deli. There were several unique flavors and we all enjoyed what we ordered.More
Picture a hole in the wall and you will be at this Deli. Let's start with the 2 not helpful attendants that takes your order. This was my first time there and I am trying my best to make a quick decision because I have...to read all in the wall menu... (there are no suggestions ...just bored and unfriendly faces.) I order m breakfast and walk the line to pay for my meal and the cashier also unfriendly. When I ask for what types of drink they have all she does is to point me to the coolers... she did not waited for me and started checking out other people. I pay and the system ask to leave a tip. I leave a tip out of courtesy bu really... why should I? No one will take your food to your table.. (if you can find a table...) otherwise you will be standing. They call your number when your meal is ready and you pick it up with the "not so friendly 2 attendants". Not given utensils, no a word of where they are located... where to find anything! Only the locals are the ones willing to help. I was seated almost by the door and had to contend with the cold because "the 2 not friendly attendants" were hot so they did not allowed anyone to close the door. I usually try not to leave a bad review because people need a job... But I just can phantom why these restaurants with such a bad service are still in business. Why should I have to pay $20 for a scrambled eggs, toast and $5 for a juice in a basement? not to mention also a tip for no service?More
Great ice cream! Doesnt seem to matter what the temperature is, the desire for Joe's Famous Ice Cream is well worth it.
I wanted a snack and have a sweet tooth so I stopped here for some gelato. I ordered Almond Joy and toasted marshmallow fudge swirl and it was delicious.
Sandwich pasta salad and drink cost 23 dollars it’s average at best. It’s vail! There’s a lot of cool food to try that way better for $$.
I broke my front tooth when I bit into what felt like a rock in the bottom of my cone. My husband and I discovered a freezing cold, rock hard malted milk ball when we looked at my cone. The milk ball didn't even break...when I bit into it. The owner, Joseph Joyce, is accusing me of lying that this happened and is refusing to submit an insurance claim or offer any compensation for the $9K I now have in dental bills. He has been dismissive, condescending, and obstructive in response to me. He's even threatened to sue me for defamation because I wrote in my first review that they served me a frozen milk ball and "we don't serve frozen malted milk balls. They're soft." What he doesn't seem to understand is that, even though in his mind this isn't possible, it actually happened to me. Please advise me, Joseph Joyce, of the correct way to describe the freezing cold, rock hard malted milk ball that was in my cone. What is actual fact is that I lost a healthy, disease-free tooth eating an ice cream cone, have close to $9,000.00 in dental bills from this injury and the owner is refusing to take any responsibility. Instead, he's blaming me.More
I last visited 9 years ago and it's just as great now. Lots of wonderful options for picnics and take-out: sandwiches, salads, deserts.
