We all haven’t gone out since COVID started back in March so it was real nice splurging! Between the three couples we each spent about $156 so the overall bill was around $940. The Spanish granache we had “la basseta” was amazing, the fondue was...amazing, the Somalia was amazing, and our server Nash was amazing! Not only is the food amazing, but the service was impeccable. Jackson was so accommodating with allergies and other random requests we had. He was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu and wine pairings. I highly recommend the Swiss Chalet!

We have walked by this place for years, on our trips to Vail and never stopped in...Big Mistake! We had a fabulous experience on January 6, 2021. I made a reservation on Open Table and our waitress was Siggy/Ziggi (not sure of the spelling). She...was fantastic!! She knew the menu, the Alpine customs of the dishes. She recommended exactly what we needed in quantity/selection and made our dining experience extremely pleasurable. Our fondu with tenderloin & vegetables and delicious salad was a perfect choice! We will make reservations in advance of our arrival so we will be assured of a dinner at the Swiss Chalet on our next trip. Very authentic Swiss/Alpine decor ALL staff was courteous and friendly as well...make it a must on your trip to Vail!More

My girlfriend and I ate at Swiss Chalet for Christmas Eve dinner and it was the perfect way to spend the holiday. Not only was the food incredible (onion soup cheesy and delicious, the raclette cheese fondue was amazing, and the chocolate hazelnut fondue was...to die for) but it was our wait staff that really made the night. Our waiter Nash was so friendly, warm, and a true master of his craft. We went with every suggestion he made, and we couldn't have been happier. We love this place and we would recommend Swiss Chalet 11 out of 10 times!More

There are few places in the US like Vail, Colorado. The European-style village, the skiing, the restaurants create such a unique atmosphere, and no restaurant adds to that atmosphere more than The Swiss Chalet. What ski trip is complete without a night of fondue. And...nobody does fondue better than The Swiss Chalet! Our server, Sigi, was so helpful in choosing what (and how much) to order with our family of 5, including a vegetarian 17 year old daughter. It was a great family night out after an amazing day of skiing!More

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant with my family. We were served by Gigi who was amazing! We had fondu but my son cannot have cheese. I always thought fondu was was cheese. Gigi, who is German, showed us a meat fondu on oil...that was really good. I highly recommend Swiss Chalet and if you can ask to be served by Gigi.More
