sit at the bar for happy hour pricing. Bartender makes very good drinks and the happy hour menu is nice as well. We like the beef tostadas.

Such a nice place with a comfortable terrace in a nice area to enjoy a nice breakfast. Extraordinary desserts & pastries... as good as in Europe. You must try this!

OMG. The cioppino is to die for. Seafood lovers will be thrilled. This is a hearty dish, scallops, mussels, shrimp and chunks of fish in a citrus tomato based sauce. Zov has never disappointed us in the more than 30 years coming here. The lamb...chops are my other go to dinner dish here, the cioppino is definitely going to demand to share my palette. Can't wait to come again for another portion.More

I was disappointed with my dining experience at Zov's for several reasons: 1) I had to wait longer than I wanted before a server came to my table to take my order, 2) although I asked for the Chicken Paillard Salad without goat cheese or...raw onions (which he honored), and the server offered parmesan to which I said yes, the salad came with no cheese at all, 3) although the greens were reasonably fresh, nothing was special about them (they were like, or were!, the supermarket bagged kind), 4) no bread or crackers or any other go-with was offered, 5) the couple of measly small wedges of tomato in the salad weren't ripe (come on, folks, this is early September in Southern California--red ripe tomatoes are EVERYWHERE!), 5) the total with diet Coke and tip came to a few cents less than $30. That's too much for a meh salad. On the bright side, the candied walnuts were delicious, and the server was smiley.More

This was a very unusual choice for a business dinner but I thought that everyone might enjoy something different and no one was disappointed. Great Mediterranean food and very good service. The group had the large appetizer platter and NOTHING was left. Chicken, halibut and kebabs...were ordered for main dishes and everyone complimented the chef. Forget desserts. Positively sinful. Would return. Prices are in line with $$$ restaurants.More

We both had the scramble-so good! Excellent service. Enjoy having a more upscale breakfast. Coffee cake and hash brown is also delicious!

Zov's is a local favorite. Great happy hour menu, stick around for dinner and don't miss the hot fudge brownie desert made with marshmallow cream. Flavor profiles are bold, Mediterranean/Armenian vibe. Great hummus but also excellent steak. Put it simply, Zov really knows food!

This is a great restaurant for a date night... even if you’ve been married for years. Great food... nice wine... and save room for dessert.

For us, this is a once a year dinner because it costs so much more than the other local restaurants we like to go to. The food is ok.

I've dined here since the place opened years ago. Back then the owners came out and greeted you warmly happy to see you. Now as the years have gone by the prices have gone up and up and the attitude is unappealing. They've had great...success but seem to forget that they need to pay attention to quality. The food is mostly mediterranean and many of the dishes are featured in Zov's recipe book. This is the original location which expanded from a table service dining establishment to a cafe/bistro on the opposite side. So be sure you specify where you are meeting friends when you make arrangements. Their bakery looks amazing but every time I've had a cookie it tasted old (dried out)- especially the ginger cookies which use to be a favorite. Portion sizes are moderate but prices are high. I think this place is overhyped for the quality of the food and prices. Honestly I rarely go here because of the hype vs. the reality.More

I ate here Saturday, March 2 with a group of 5 at 11 am. The Bistro section was the only eating area open. It was a rainy day and they weren't able to use the outside seating, unfortunately, because it made it very crowded and...noisy inside. The wait staff couldn't have been more pleasant. They were rushed and no doubt stressed but still pleasant and willing to give us separate checks. The food was wonderful. I had the Zov's Omelet and highly recommend it. It was fluffy and the feta cheese made it unusual and gave it a great taste. Our waiter was Neftali and he was great, but Zov's is the kind of restaurant where the wait staff helps each other out.More

This place is huge, and was very crowded at lunchtime. We were seated, then ordered at 12:15, but the kitchen was slow, and we didn't get our food until nearly 1:00. The server told me that I could get my lamburger medium, but it arrived...well done. Still very good, with my side salad Greek style. One of our party had a sandwich, which he proclaimed very good. His side of shoestring potatoes were perfect IMO, crisp on the outside and still tender on the inside. The third of our party had meat loaf, which disappeared in short order. Food was very good, beverages were a bit pricey - $3.95 for sodas or iced tea, and $9 for alcoholic drinks, this for lunch.More

Have been passing by Zov's for years and finally stopped in for dinner. They have a bakery with amazingly tempting treats. The menu has many good choices, and they have lots of wine and spirit choices. We found the food to be very good, and...look forward to returning.More
