Upon walking in. There is no sign saying welcome seat yourself or wait to be seated.
No one was there to greet us. We went at 1:45 on Sunday. It was moderately busy.

Crema Cafe is an excellent breakfast cafe on the quaint Seal Beach Main Street. It’s perfect for a cup of coffee or tea and a filling fresh meal. I am addicted to their crepes. Sweet or my favorite savory. I generally create my own of...More
The indoor seating and feel of La Crema has improved greatly since their remodel. The food is average to good and the service is great. They have a variety of coffee and espresso. Our only complaint is that they don’t serve their espresso in an...More
We chose this restaurant for breakfast because of the outside seating (courtyard). The food was good, and fresh. Menu has some interesting choices. Service was underwhelming. Nice place, good meal, not disappointing, but also not something to rave about.
We recently stayed in seal beach, out of all of the places to eat we found the Crema Cafe gave the best experience. A menu with both savoury and sweet the choice is vast..try the breakfast sandwich with fruit..simply to die for. Caters for all...More
Went with the family for breakfast and it was outstanding. The eggs and crepes were a big hit. But the small package of artisan honey crisps I bought on the way out were over the top. So good that I contacted them afterwards to place...More
Love this place, faultless from start to finish. Great juice, coffee, granola and french toast. Has a great European feel to it, had to wait 4 months to get back here from the UK, it was worth the wait!!

Pets are as well behaved as their owners, who are respectful of others' space. Kept on leashes, the owners keep their pets aside and usually only suffer the intrusiveness of diners gushing over their dogs - not the other way around! They want what you want: a peaceful, pleasant outdoor dining experience. If a (rarely) a pet starts to approach as you walk by, the owner quickly intervenes and pulls him back. Neither you or your son should have any bad experiences there. Also, there's a bigger area in the back where you'd be less likely to have a pet nearby. (Not that the place is swarming with them!). Hope this helps reassure you; if you're still leery of committing to a full meal, at least go for one of their marvelous pastries to test it out. Good luck. And enjoy!
