Quiche and salad were very well prepared, though a little expensive. The place is cute but a little small. You order and pay upfront at the counter and food is brought to your table. I was a little disappointed as I planned to get a...bakery item but almost all had nuts in them. Luckily I noticed menus for non bakery items near the cashier.More

It’s such a beautiful place and atmosphere. All the employees were super nice and informative about the menu. And the food was amazing. Definitely my favorite breakfast spot in Santa Monica! Definitely will come back next time I’m in town. I can see how is...one of the places that Phil Rosenthal recommended in his television show!More

Ok .. I love their cookbook .. it's one of my favorites and I was SO EXCITED to visit their restaurant. I was very disappointed after spending $80 bucks on breakfast pastries and cookies ... They were mostly flavorless. BOO! Waited 20 minutes for a...lemonade?? Weird COVID set up.More

Huckleberry is quite different than your usual bakery breakfast spot. It’s cute and quaint inside and you quickly forget that you’re in Los Angeles. The aroma of fresh baked pastries and breads bring smiles to everyone’s faces upon entering. Aside from the warm and welcoming...decor, the selection of pastries and breakfast items are many and delightful. There’s literally something for everyone. All the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We ordered a cold brew and a vanilla latte. Both were very good; Nice roast on the beans. I had looked online for ‘best croissants in LA’ and this was one of the bakeries that popped up and it was close to where we were staying in West L.A. The croissant hit the spot and satisfied my craving. We also ordered their weekend special: Creekstone Farms Braised Brisket Hash. This was good, but the portion was a bit on the small side for a $17 breakfast dish. I would definitely go back for coffee, pastries and fresh baked breads.More

they have a fine variety of to-go items. Nice pastries and a lot of other options as well. Good cappuccinos and friendly staff. Not cheap, but I would definitely come back again.

Bakery that serves fried chicken at night. Every part of the sandwich from the bread to the pickle is of very high quality. If you plan on visiting this place and you're used to refined/delicate food please order the least spicy version of the sandwich...because apparently spicy = spicy :).More

This place came highly recommended in some of the reviews so that's why we gave it a try. First of all it only opens for breakfast at 7:30 AM on a Saturday which strikes me as somewhat odd ? Next you don't get table service,...you pay and order first at the counter and then somebody puts you on a table with cold and metal chairs and not much seating to begin with. Food is predominantly local farms and healthy if you're into that kinda stuff but it doesn't come cheap, we paid $ 50 for breakfast for 2. It was all a bit underwhelming for me, I'm not into half a pound of Arugula with my breakfast.More

Local bakery and cafe with a solid gluten-free chocolate tea cake. There’s street parking along Wilshire and there’s a paid parking lot in the back. Been here a couple of times and have had their breakfast burrito, which is a bit overpriced (if you do...get this, add the bacon for $3 more). On my recent visit I came with a friend for breakfast around 9am on a Saturday and there were plenty of tables available. You have to stand in line to order though and a worker assigns table numbers to you. There’s a self-service water dispenser inside. You can have dogs outside (not only service animals), but note the outside tables are mainly two-seaters. The atmosphere is quaint but the food is just alright (aside from the tea cake). If you order a croissant, be sure to specify whether or not you want a chocolate one or not since the waiter brought out the wrong one for my friend. The chai latte was a bit bland and not worth it. This place is overhyped but it is a good Santa Monica meeting spot to grab a quick bite with a friend.More

We stopped in here after a local recommended this café to us. The chalk board menu is up on the wall and you order at the counter. They have a display case of baked goods to tempt your sweet tooth. They give you a number...to place on your table and when your food is ready they bring it out to you. It was rather busy in here and we only had to wait a few minutes before a table opened up. Food arrived and hot and in a timely manner. For breakfast I ordered Dad’s pancakes and a vanilla latte. My boyfriend decided on scrambled eggs with avocado and pancakes. These LARGE pancakes were light and fluffy and they come with pure maple syrup. Even though these pancakes were light and fluffy they were very filling. We left satisfied without felling stuffed. The avocado in the eggs was fresh and you can tell they use local ingredients. The vanilla latte was strong and just the right amount of vanilla latte. I love it when cafes take the time to add some latte art!More

Loved this restaurant. You order at the counter and find a table (if possible) and wait for your food. It’s a super popular spot. Please note: No dogs allowed inside, but they do have seating outside. They food is amazing. They do have some items...that they will not make substitutions on, so if you have allergies, you need to find something else. The pudding is incredible! I can’t wait to go back.More
