As soon as you walk in it's like a bar. T.vs everywhere, a big bar and lots of seats. I came for the comedy show that night. It was packed so I thought service was going to be bad, I was wrong. The Bartender gave me my water fast and was super friendly, the wait staff was so accommodating. The manager was there enjoying the show. Talking to people before it started. The show was great lots of fantastic comedians. Completely recommend coming back to watch the game or enjoy a show. Sandwich was bomb.

First the staff is one of the reasons for the rating. All super friendly and helpful. Gave great recommendations for food, and things to check out in town. A 49ers and LA Kings bar, lots of tv’s to take in the game, both inside and out. Great drink menu, several crafted by Keith. Daily food specials, Tuesday is BOGO burgers so bring a friend!!! I was torn between the Brie or California burger. Brie was recommended and did not disappoint!! Will def be back next trip to LBC! Dispensary next door was also awesome and liquor stores just down the block! One stop success!!!

I brought my pup for his first beach experience at Rosie's Beach and we went to Gallagher's for some breakfast after. Our waitress was very sweet and brought him a bowl of water and offered a strip of bacon for him. I had the traditional Irish breakfast while my niece tried their coconut French toast which she absolutely enjoyed. The food is good, my dog was happy, we had a great time and met friendly people! I recommend this place if you are looking for a dog-friendly, casual place to eat.

This is a fun pub if you're not going to eat. Great sports bar atmosphere with large screen TVs showing non-stop sporting events. My server was really friendly and nice. Beer selection on draft was good. I ordered a Rueben sandwich and a dry got burnt toast sandwich with and way too salty meat. Really disappointing. Go for the fun and the drinks but eat somewhere else.

This location pub has the BEST FOOD EVER! Omg, you can not go wrong with ordering ANYTHING from the menu, and that is really surprising to say. The hot wings are great, the sandwiches are awesome, the soup is great, drinks are great, really I can type up the entire menu and you will be pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly - you will walk out feeling like you are in an episode of CHEERS:-)

What more can you want in an Irish pub? The place has an open feel, with patio space on the sidewalk to boot. There plenty on tap, and you'll never find a better corned beef brisket or shepherd's pie in Long Beach. The staff is friendly a-plenty and make it seem normal to serve an abundance of tables and refresh their customers as if they actually like their jobs. I'll go back again and again!

A fabulous atmosphere that just got better and better as the night progressed. The bar snacks were fun, filling and nicely presented. The bar staff were fun but efficient and took their job seriously; something that I appreciate when parting with hard earned money. Irish bars naturally attract me but outside of the UK I'm always a little apprehensive of what I’ll find. This is an excellent version of an American, ‘Irish flavoured’, not themed, bar. It wasn’t pretending to be anything other than what it is…. and I loved it!

We were just passing through the area and looking for a late breakfast spot. Other restaurants nearby had long waits so we decided to try this place since we could just walk in and sit. We just missed breakfast but the food was great! I had a rueben sandwich and a bloody mary and both were impressive.

While the service and atmosphere were decent, BEWARE of their sneaky and deceptive menu pricing! When we received our bill, we noticed that our beers cost more than were advertised on the menu. All of their drafts were listed on the menu as ranging from $4-5. However, they charged us $6-7 for each of our beers. When I brought this to the server's attention, she told me "We're in the process of a menu change, and the new prices aren't reflected." SERIOUSLY? I was there over 3 months ago, and they were STILL using old menus. How long does it take to have new menus printed up? Anyway, that's beside the point. They shouldn't be charging customers more than the posted menu prices - that's a shady business practice (not even sure it's legal). And when I complained about being overcharged, the manager only took $2 off the bill (as if they're doing me a favor). It's not even the money that's an issue - it's the principle. I've been screwed over like this at other restaurants, which is enough for me to never go back. It didn't help that the food was just mediocre, and half of the beers listed on their draft menu aren't even available anymore. Anyway, CHECK YOUR BILL - just in case the same thing happens to you. Get your act together Gallagher's - the least you can do is tell customers about the new menu pricing BEFORE they order (at least until your "new" menus are printed). Or maybe they're just hoping that customers won't notice...

1st night in Long Beach, walking distance from our B&B, this bar/grill ticked all the boxes for us. Outdoor or indoor seating, bottomless mimosas, great burgers and a really good atmosphere Highly recommend

Found Gallagher's on BringFido.com. The reviews seem to be OK so we gave it a try. The place itself, a bit old and tired. Torn vinyl, wobbly chairs, rusty tables and slow service. Although the server was very friendly, she was incredibly slow. She did bring our dog a bowl of water. The special on the day of our visit was 2-4-1 burgers, so we thought we'd give then a try. Let me tell you...I have had burgers all over the US,Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. These were the best burgers ever! The buns were yummy, the "produce" fresh. Beef was lots and real. Real cheese, too. And the onion rings...wow! So for all the sketchiness of the restaurant, and the slow service...we will return on our next foray to Long Beach.
