Down at the docks

fresh fish, fine service, grungy area, down to the basics. Tucked away in the inner harbor it's worth the trip dodging tractor trailers leaving the port of Long Beach. Good fresh fish, grilled or fried, grab a cold beer and a picnic table to sit at and watch the fishing boats. This ain't the Ritz but good and basic.

Good seafood, fast service

Small but balanced menu. You can choose soup/starters, grilled fish (variety of 9), bowls and tacos/burritos. Gumbo soup is ok, chowder not so good. Lobster roll worth it and tacos portions are bigger than usual tacos. Drinks available are soda, beer, wine. There is kids menu also. In restaurant you can seat inside or on the terrace.

Best food I had while in Long Beach

I was expecting nice healthy options all over LB. I ate at less than stellar places and was so excited when I gave this a try. I had fabulous grilled salmon, brown rice and quinoa, and kale salad. It was the best food I had in the area and I sat at the long window table so I could people watch.

Nice fish at a reasonable price

This was my first time and I visited because I was looking for fish at a reasonable price. The reviews were excellent, so I gave it a try. I was very happy with my grilled sea bass, quinoa and brown rice with a kale salad. This is a fast casual dining experience and the staff were pleasant and helpful with my selections. I sat outside to enjoy the weather and they bring the food to you. I ate early so it was not busy and enjoyed the food. I will come back next time I visit Long Beach.

Not bad! Good ambiance and food

Not bad! Good ambiance with indoor and outdoor dining. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The Clam chowder was pretty good. The grilled Fish Sandwich was more the size of a burger with a lot of greens on it. But overall not bad.

Best lunch in Long Beach

Searched reviews for a great lunch spot and came up with Pier 76. We were not disappointed. It was a short walk from our hotel, but also along major bus routes. We tried the fish and chips and the several shrimp dishes. Everything we tried was fantastic and very reasonably priced as well as large portions. Highly recommend.

Fast Food Fish

We had lunch at this fast food type restaurant. You order at the counter and then are given a number that you take to the table of your choosing. There was inside and outside seating. We had the fish and chips and was a very large portion and fish tacos. Both were good.

Great fish and chips!

They had a very small menu. My husband and I shared the fish and chips and the fish tacos. The fish and chips were great! Fish tacos were just ok.

Great Concept with Fresh Ingredients, Reasonable Prices and Excellent Food

Loved the idea of this restaurant and lots of great menu choices. I had the Hipster Shrimp Bowl and my wife had a fish grill of rock fish with two sides. Prices per entree are very reasonable (under $13) and both were cooked to order, fresh, and very tasty as well as filling. The kale side was absolutely stellar. The hipster bowl was great, very unique combination and very satisfying meal. Loved it!!

Fresh fish with healthy sides

This restaurant is located on the corner of busy Pine Avenue and 1st Street in downtown Long Beach. It is fast casual where you order at the counter and they bring you your food. Their selection of fish is large and sides very healthy and creative. Try to go back as often as possible for work lunches.

Quick lunch

We decided to stay close to our hotel for lunch and went to Pier 76. The portions were large and prices very reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their dishes and we plan to eat there again before we leave

Lobster roll

A pub/fast food seafood place. Directions on Yelp is incorrect- not located at the outlet, it’s two blocks up. Food selection is great. We had the clam chowder and both Maine lobster roll/lobster&shrimp roll. Both were great with great flavor. Service is quick. They have soda machine that is locally made. Great selection of local beer.

Mediocre Cheap Seafood

I had fish and chips plus sweet potato fries. Figured this was a safe choice since it was first time eating there. I couldn’t finish eating it. The fish tasted like ocean water the sweet potato fries dried out. Prices are reasonable but the food is not all that.
