I live out of state and visit everytime I am in town. Same bartenders and management year after year , nice and friendly, who remember me and feel welcome. Food is a lot better than expected, full dinner to appetizers and bar food. Atmosphere is great. One of the longest bars I've ever seen and is all fancy woodwork as is behind the bar.

I travel a lot! I do it personally and for work. This is where I keep coming back. This is located in the Bixby neighborhood of LB. The bartender makes the best old fashion I've ever had. He suggested Larceny.. and now I am ruined... no one else has made such a good old fashion. The food here is also good. If ever in LB check this place out..And if you like Old Fashions...order one with Larceny.

Local sports bar in Bixby Knolls. Draft and craft beers available. Burgers are mouth-watering. Parking available in the back. Plenty of TVs.

EJ Malloys used to be a classic pub, but it updated to more modern sports bar. It used to have more wood trims and etc like an Irish pub, but now it turn more modern. Flat screen TVs surrounds the walls. I guess they figured their clientele’s love watching the game while there. I guess it’s a good place to hang out and have a burger or drink. Food is the same at most joints, nothing special to die for . I guess it’s the atmosphere that’s why you go there.

While in Long Beach for a business trip with my husband we stopped in for a drink and dinner. It was a cold, rainy night and we scored a table by the fireplace, that was a bonus. Our server Kelsey, was super friendly and attentive. Happy hour prices are good and I liked that my Chardonnay was served in a chilled glass. My husband had the cheese burger sliders with fries, an ample portion with good taste. I had the Salmon Salad, grilled salmon served on a bed of spinach and kale with a balsamic dressing. It was delicious, the only negative I would suggest removing stems from the spinach. We really enjoyed our dinner and next time we're in town, we'll go back!

Seven friends and I went to EJ's for brunch. Half of us had breakfast and the other half had lunch. Several meals served did not match the menu. It was missing simple stuff such as tomatoes for burgers and fruit with breakfast. When asked about the missing items we were told the cooks forgot or they were out of the item. Overall food was good but not great.

In the mood for a Rueban, try their Irish Egg Rolls. In some circles this would be considered Irish Asian Fusion. Let's just say they are a meal all by themselves. The fish and chips keep me coming back. If the food wasn't enough of a reason to come back, their staff makes you feel at home.

Have tried this place a few times. I think it needs a change, especially the bartender. She is very sure of herself for reasons unknown. Screwed up my drink order and in some way it was my issue. No thanks.

Stopped in for breakfast but it's only on the weekend. So, we ordered lunch instead. GREAT FOOD!!! The chili is great, the ruben sandwich is fantastic, and the fish and chips were on point. Will definitely be going back!

On a rare rainy night in long beach stopped into this pub on Atlantic avenue to meet some friends for a couple of adult beverages. Tried their hose red wine not bad, and my friends ordered a pitcher of Heffenwieser. Bar staff very friendly and attentive, place is generally very spick and span, there is very limited street parking so suggest parking in the rear.

New menu since I've been there last. Really love the grilled meatloaf sandwich, and the beer selection is always good. Fun to watch football on the many screens.

Surprised and delighted! I've lived near an EJ Malloys location for years and finally decided to pop in with friends - delicious food and lots of great beer selects!

This is a great little place for pub snacks and a few good beer options. We aren't TV/game watchers so the outside seating is nice. Love the chowder and tots! Would recommend this place for Bixby Knolls area.

The clam chowder ($6)was freshly made and filled the bowl to the top. The garlic bread was soft, fresh, and very very good. The fish and chips ($16.50; halibut) came with eight small chunks of lightly battered fresh fish. Was good ... But ... More batter than fish. The chips (fries) were cold.

This is a fantastic spot for grabbing a beer. Across from the reno room, this is the less pretentious of the 2 and has great high end bar food. Service is great and the patio is a nice place to hang for a few hours. Check it out.
