Let me start by saying the staff are AMAZING! Super friendly, fun banter & awesome dining recommendations compliments of both Charles & Josh behind the bar. They are both super friendly & fun to connect with! I tried their new cocktail called at tiramisu martini...and can only tell you that is probably one of the most delicious martinis I’ve ever had in my life…! As someone who travels every week and dines out a ton, this is probably the best martini blend I’ve ever had! you folks MUST try it. I was suggested to try one of their two flatbreads as an appetizer, and it two was out of this world absolutely delicious, noting very, very thin crust, fresh tomatoes, fresh, cilantro, and delicious tomato sauce, and sausage! My rigatoni Arrabiata was without question one of the best Arrabiata pasta, as I’ve ever had in my life as well…! This is a must visit restaurant! Yummm yummm yummm ! 😊👍😋😋😋More

Traditional New York style Italian food. Menu items are standard and popular fare. Solid food, very good portions.

I take my sister here every year for her birthday and it is always wonderful but this year thanks to Mark, our server, we had the best time ever! His suggestions were spot on. We had wonderful zucchini appetizer, Caesar salads, best lasagna ever and...an amazing warm apple tart like dessert with vanilla ice cream. We never had to look for Mark because he anticipated our every need. He presented her with the beautiful plate of half moon lemon cookies with “Happy Birthday” written in chocolate. His wonderful charm and wit really made it so special! Can’t wait till next year! The Hodges sisters!More

We had 3 couples that are dinner at this restaurant on January 1 2022. Our first waitress was Bailey. Bailey provided excellent service. We don't know what happened, however about 2/3 rds through our dining experience Bailey had to go somewhere else and Anthony became...our waiter. Anthony turned out to be a real jerk. When we ordered desert we discussed several options and decided to order butter cake and chocolate cake. We had discussed cream burlee, however settled on chocolate and butter cake. When Anthony came back with chocolate cake and cream burlee we advised Anthony of the mistake. At this point Anthony yelled at us and explained that he was correct and the six of us were wrong. Our dinning experience was deffinately deminished from that point on. The food was wonderful and I would dine at this establishment again, however I would refuse to let Anthony serve me again.More

Recommended to this restaurant and we were very pleased with our dinner. Our reservation made well in advance, good thing as this Saturday night it was a long wait if not. We had a reservation and still had to wait 15 additional minutes, but it...was okay. I went up to check and the older gentleman at the host station took care of us right away. He was wonderful. Sat us at a wonderful booth. Our server was on her game. Everything went perfectly. Nice bread and oil/balsamic to start. Salads were so fresh. My husband enjoyed the lasagne entree and my chicken piccata was okay, but the chicken was very thin and seemed chewy. Tiramisu to share was great too. It is a chain and had a good sense of all the staff working together.More

Went here for two different large parties with 12–20 people each time. The atmosphere is inviting and clean, the servers are wonderful, and everything is flavorful and satisfying. This is a very dependable restaurant that isn't likely to disappoint. I personally reocmmend the Shrimp Fra...Diavolo.More

Great place to go with friends, a wedding dinner or even a date night. Food and service is always great and never any issues. Depending on which meal you order there is always a second one to go which is nice. If you just have...left overs then they will box up for you and even add more sauce if you ask. Very good place to eat.More

I always like Maggiano’s. First time I ate at the one in Costa Mesa. It was quite nice with lots of outdoor seating. The food is always good and plentiful and priced right. One thing!! They charge way to much for house wines. For example,...my glass of house Chianti was over $15. Crazy. This makes up for lower prices for food and large amounts of it. Watch you wine drinking! Both our dishes were very good. Pasta and a chicken piccata. We got the special which includes two meals, two salads and one dessert. $46. BUT, you also get two dishes to take home. Great deal. Sometimes you pay $5 extra for a special dish that is not a regular pasta dish. Parking is easy and free.More

We went there at the end of May, right when restaurants reopened for indoor dining, and chose a nice corner booth. Service was great. Food was good. Drinks were delicious. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer with mushroom ravioli and Mediterranean spaghetti...for the entrees. For drinks, we had the Pomegranate Martini and Barred-Aged Old Fashioned. The Apple Crostata was our delicious dessert. We also got two bonus pasta dishes to go as part of a menu promotion. A good experience and was absolutely worth our visit !More

Wasn’t sure what to do for dinner tonight as South Coast Plaza was closed and we found out that there was a protest that was going to march down Bear Street from 4 to 6 PM. Go figure. Called a few places and found out...that Maggiano’s was actually going to be open! Surprise! A truly terrific dinner! We opened with cocktails, mine the barrel aged Old-fashioned and my wife had a glass of Duckhorn Cabernet Sauvignon. Free starter we ordered the classic bruschetta. Huge portion! Extremely tasty! As we were finishing up that we ordered our dinner of chicken Parmesan and veal marsala. I truly enjoyed the veal marsala wonderful flavors with a deeply flavorful marsala sauce. My wife was able to get through a third of her chicken Parmesan! It was a huge portion! On the good side looks like we have Italian later this week :-). We saved a little room for their Spumante dessert which was delicious! Well done one and all! Our server Eric did a terrific job. Overall Maggioni‘s did a great job in COVID-19 preparations keeping all the patrons safe. Thank you! We’ll be back again! Together we can get through this!More

We have been going to this restaurant for years, but we never wrote a review. They have some of the best Italian food in the state. They also have an exceptional offer of a take home meal, for every full meal you buy. My wife...loves the mushroom ravioli and I love everything else. Great bread, service and atmosphere just add to the pleasure.More

Stopped in for brunch today with my wife. We were pleased with the quality of the food in the professional service! We chose to sit at the bar, one of our favorite places to kabitz. I started with their bloody Mary which was very good...but not spectacular. I was hoping to have something special like a slice of bacon in it. My wife decided to go with the Duckhorn Merlot. My wife ordered the sausage for Tita and I do monthly special of stuff shells. I also ordered a couple of pieces of their bruschetta and was looking forward to it. The bartenders did great job taking care of us. I was surprised however when our meals came out without the bruschetta. I asked Aaron to ensure that it was taken off our bill. My stuffed shells were absolutely amazing! Extremely tasty and well seasoned. I was able to get through half of them. My wife noted that her frittata was excellent and the fried potatoes extremely delicious as well. She could only eat half of her meal as well so we left with plenty. One of the highlights of the stuff shells special was to choose from the classic pasta take home. We opted for their four cheese ravioli in Alfredo. It is sitting in our freezer now waiting for another day. I also tried their barrel aged old-fashioned which was extremely yummy! To close out we had their special dessert of the month, hazelnut cheesecake. All I could say is wow! With the exception of these mixup on the appetizer it was another terrific experience! Thank you!More
