We were in Niseko area for 10 days and tried lots of dinner places. This was the best by a long way. We ended up having dinner here three times. A friendly couple run the place and prepare the food in a small kitchen that...you can observe from the restaurant. The food is fresh, meticulously prepared and presented and completely delicious. I won't forget this place in a hurry and would certainly recommend it.More

Located about a 2 minute walk from our room at Snow Dog, Upashi Seta already had an advantage but it also delivers in its own right. The food is delicious, and they're very accommodating to dietary needs, suggesting good options. The staff are really friendly...and the menu is varied - with something for everyone. We went a few times and everything we had was tasty - would definitely recommend.More

Two visits and both times delighted with our choices. Friendly service and lovely atmosphere. Recommend to visit - small menu but you can’t go wrong :-)

It's simple ... don't waste anytime choosing. Go there! Amazing food, super nice people. The place is a bit hard to find but once you reach it, you will be rewarded.

We have been her loads and have always had great food with excellent hospitality. Things to try: the fried chicken with chilli mayo is a must, the fresh sashimi, grandma's daily special, the okonomiyaki to name a few. Service with a smile and a hidden...gem in Niseko Village. Highly recommend a visit or two (or three 😉)More

Fortunately, there are places like Upashi Seta still in existence, tucked away in Niseko Village and off the beaten track. This restaurant has a humble, genuine feel about it, and I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I arrived. Akiko, chef and...owner, cooked authentic, tasty cuisine using fresh local produce for a very reasonable price. I learnt about Upashi Seta (and Akiko's cooking!) through word of mouth recommendation, time for the rest of the world to know about it.More

We ate at Upashi Seta several times while staying at the Snowdog Village. The new izakaya was brilliant and exactly what was needed after an active day on the slopes. Takuya and Ai were friendly hosts and the food and sake selection was fantastic -...try the Hokkaido pork stew, cheese and potato croquettes and raddish salad. Cash only, not pricey and worth every Yen. They just started a happy hour from 6pm on the last night of our stay, so get on it!More
