Good food, huge servings and the Baklava is to die for. Elan is rated high for a reason and they didn’t disappoint.

Good food, ample servings, wonderful location and a Baklava to die for. There is a reason why they are highly rated and they didn’t disappoint. They also have a live Baklava counter that serves - crisp and soft. They provided both desert for us to try! It tastes best with an Arabic tea. We paid around $48 USD for a family of three with a salad, three main courses, 2 servings of baklava deserts and Arabian tea. Elan is located beside an open piazza and the outdoor seating on a cool October weather is the best combination. Highly recommend!

"Happy" Birthday!

It was a lovely evening of celebrating two birthdays made special by Elan restaurant. All the food ordered was very tasty & delicious, served in a timely way. The open air seating area offers a fantastic view of Wadi Musa & the type of music played gives a lovely, serene atmosphere, which is important for enjoying dinner. Dinner was topped off with a beautiful birthday cake made special by Elan, that was absolutely delicious & made the birthday guests surprised & very happy. Very enjoyable evening.

The Best Authentic Meal in Petra / Wadi Musa

I tried this restaurant during my visit at Petra. The staff were welcoming and greeted me with a smile. I ordered the traditional Jordanian dish called Manssaf which is lamb over rice with a side of yogurt sauce. The meat was very tender, and the sauce was very tasty. Eating here reminded me of a home cooked meal prepared with pride and love. The serving was huge that I couldn’t finish the whole dish. It didn’t stop there. Although I was already full, they offered me a traditional dessert on the house called Conafa. The perfect sweetness lingered in my mouth. I highly recommend trying this restaurant if you want a traditional Jordanian dish and homey atmosphere when visiting Petra in Wadi Musa.

Something for everyone

We walked around the area graving pizza and were approached by one of the friendly waiters. The Margherita pizza was exceptional and tasted like one in Europe or even Italy would taste. My brother had the Kuftah and it was like we had it before. Try the version made with sesame oil, it gives the dish a special flavor. The spaghetti had a nice spicyness and they made their own interpretation with peas. They even put on a show for us making a traditional desert. The atmosphere is great as well with nice lighting and we vibed to the music too. There's a small parking lot beside the restaurant, just ask one of the waiters if you can park there. Good prices too. Overall we're very satisfied and left the place happy and well fed.

Relaxing Dinner on terrace

Dinner for two on the terrace of this new restaurant nearby commercial center in Wadi Musa . The food was well-cooked and in generous portions, we choosed the traditional mansaf and mixed grilled kebab. Special mentions for dessert, fresh and tasty, and waiters included the guy that shows menu downstairs. Prices in line with other similars restaurants,final bill without bad surprises .

Great staff, good food & service

We went back to this restaurant because the first time was really pleasant, the staff was friendly and service quick, food was also very well prepared so overall good experience. For vegetarians there are several options & it’s very tasteful. We had the vegetarian salawy (potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, bell peper from the oven) and ceasar salad, greek salad, grilled halloumi ( all great choices) Especially the atmosphere and staff was chill and friendly so I would really recommend this place!

Best of Jordan

From the appetizer to the main course to dessert everything was flavor-able, well portioned, fresh & delicious. Wait staff was knowledgeable, ready to educate and let us taste foods to figure out what we would like. The best pita and hummos I’ve had in life it was so creamy & delicious. I wish I was staying one more day in Petra just so I could eat here again.

Just Perfect

My friends and I looked through the trip advisor to see the top rated restaurants in Petra, and we found out the Elan Restaurant is rated as number one in the area; we drove to the restaurant and it was very easy to find it. We sat down in the terrace, and there were heater stoves and it was raining outside, the atmosphere was jusr perfect and the food was tasty and cooked in such a good way, the people were helpful and served us with big smiles in their faces. No wonder why it is number one in Petra, I just recommend the restaurant for everyone who is looking for a good, clean, tasty food, If I will come back to Petra I definitely will eat at same restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Petra

My friends and I had a great time in this restaurant. For a totally reasonable price we had very good apetizers and main dishes, which we all enjoyed a lot. The owner Naseem and his colleagues were extremely kind, and I could find very good vegetarian options. We also received a complimentary dessert with tea!

Delicious authentic food and lovely staff

We were recommended Elan when we asked for a place to eat where the locals go to. The food was delicious, the rooftop view and ambience beautiful and the staff were all extremely welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend. As a vegetarian I requested a vegetarian version of the Okra curry and it was magnificently flavoursome!

The best restaurant in the all Jordan

We went in Elan Restaurant during our trip in Jordan and it has been the best restaurant experienced. The waiters are very cozy and they guide you through their best traditional dishes. Finally they offer to us desserts and their mint tea (delicious!!!). If you come in Petra you cannot miss this place.

Wonderful atmospheric dinner

This was a wonderful restaurant recommended by our guide. Everyone at the restaurant was friendly, helpful, attentive, and very welcoming. The owner took very good care of us. They took the time to explain to us about the different dishes - working together as a team to make sure the translation was right - and then went above and beyond to share with us some local desserts! The food was so good with generous serving sizes. The music and atmosphere were also very relaxing. Would highly recommend Elan Restaurant!

Amazing place, better staff!

Amazing food with amazing stuff, very helpful and always smiling, they recommended us typical dishes which were delicious. Very big portions for very good price. I totally recommend this place , and trying their sweets is a must!

Excellent food but some things charged far too much

We had a great dinner. For dessert we orderd kunafa which was good but overpriced, 3 dinars a piece... The best one in Amman, Habibah's place you get 4 pieces for 3 dinars. Of course, Elan is a restaurant but it is still a rip off and it leaves a bad impression....

Great food, great terrace on first floor

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is of high quality and the terrace is very enjoyable. Living in UAE, I often go to restaurants serving specialties from this region so I was not expecting to find such great food in this restaurant we stumbled upon by chance. The mutabal, grilled halloumi and crunchy kunafa are the best I ever tasted. The staff is extremely friendly and unlike other restaurants that have their terrace too close to the road, this one has a very pleasant and clean terrace where we can breathe and lots of space. Vous pouvez aller dans ce restaurant les yeux fermés. La nourriture est délicieuse (et je suis habituée aux spécialités de cette région car je vis aux Emirats). Le mutabal, l’halloumi grillé et le kunafa version croustillante sont les meilleurs que j’ai jamais goûté. Par ailleurs, ce restaurant est beaucoup plus agréable que les autres dans le coin qui ont des petites terrasses collées à la route. Ce restaurant a une terrasse au premier étage très agréable et bien entretenue. Le staff est très sympa. Attention, les portions sont grosses.
