We got into the restaurant thanks to our guide Ziad Obeidat . Sincere thanks! It was incredibly delicious. We were welcomed on the veranda, very clean and colorful. At the beginning of our dinner we were served warm freshly made local bread, even just for...that it's worth going for! After that we tried different appetizers . The hummus was perfect. The tabbouleh salad ( is that what it was called ) was incredibly fresh but my personal favourite was the fattoush salad. But the main course was outstanding. We were company and shared a few dishes had chicken cooked 2 ways with rice . you must try their pilaf with nuts - an unforgettable experience indeed. We had beef ragu - full of flavours. Lamb in a clay pot, very juicy and tender meat. There was also a wonderful lean dish that was very much like risotto - a special recommendation. Also don't miss this flat bread stuffed with lamb. It was all very tasty! The restaurant has an open kitchen and you can see your food being prepared. The bread is baked in a special round oven over a real fire. Everything is very clean in this kitchen where the chefs work . The staff is extremely friendly. Thanks to the owner who gave us special attention and told us about their cuisine and recipes! The baker allowed us to photograph him while he prepared our order, it was a real show - Thanks - we will not forget this bread! At the end we were served tea with milk and spices - just an Arabian tale in a cup. The service was very fast and friendly. The prices are normal. We are really very impressed with this restaurant and highly recommend it!More

I was lucky enough to read the reviews here before I picked a place in Petra for dinner and decided to try. The owner who is super helpful and will explain all of the dishes to you recommended me Zarbiani! I'm not a big meat...fan but I decided to trust him and took the lamb option. It was so tasty, fresh and delicious. The meat was amazing and all good quality meat, the rice had so much flavour and I had enough to feed two people! The most nice meal I have had in Jordan by far. I also had some of their fresh bread from the oven and Mutabal, I was in heaven. It's the best Mutabal I think I have ever eaten! I would highly recommend a visit here if you are in Petra and you want fresh, tasty, quality food at a good price with excellent service and super clean.More

We came here for dinner after a tiring day exploring Petra and in need of some hearty food - most certainly was the perfect choice! We were waited by Amer who was just a delight, genuine warmth to customers and was an absolute pleasure being...served by him. Highly recommend the chicken mandi and the foul - absolutely delicious and the freshly made bread was divine! Wish we had more time to come back here and try more dishes! Thoroughly recommend, prices are also very fair, especially considering the portion size!More

Not only was the service fast, the food was served warm and fresh. The motabel tasted very good, the bryani with mandi chicken was generously spiced yet not overpowering. Highly recommend this restaurant for quality food and good ambience.

Highly recommend this restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff. We were looking for somewhere that we could get freshly prepared, delicious Jordanian food and we were not disappointed! It is easy to find, the menu...has plenty of nice options without being too good and they had a great range of fresh Juices too. Would really advise anyone visiting Wadi Musa and Petra to go here at least once.More

The most original Middle Eastern food we have eaten in 30 years. The service was impecable and super friendly. The menu was varied, original & very descriptive and precise. We have been to far more expensive restaurants and this one tops them all. We were...overwhelmed by the taste sensation. The ambience and decoration were very pleasant. We highly recommend it.More

Brilliant restaurant, food and service first class. Lovely family run business. Very reasonable. Very worthy of the 5 start ranking and no wonder they are number 2 in the area. Should be number 1 🙂

The best restaurant near Petra. We’ve tried a local dish named “Fasah”, it’s a combination mainly of beef and tomato served in a hot pot! I was carving for some hot food and it was perfect! It’s also a served with freshly made bread named...“Yemeni Bread”, this is a must try too! Staffs here are extremely welcoming and friendly! Environment is clean! It’s a very pleasant experience!More

Really delicious food and service with the biggest smile :) We ate here for two nights in a row and both dinners were very very very good. Our favourite; their own dish! (I forgot the name of the dish, but ask the staff). All this...lovely food comes with the best service. The staff is very kind and friendly. If you are in Wadi Musa you MUST eat here or you will be missing out!More
